Axial-tech Fan Design
Better, faster, stronger
Two tried-and-true Axial-tech fans feature a smaller hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring to increase downward air pressure.

Auto-Extreme Technology
Precision automated manufacturing
Auto-Extreme Technology is an automated manufacturing process that sets new standards in the industry by allowing all soldering to be completed in a single pass. This reduces thermal strain on components and avoids the use of harsh cleaning chemicals, resulting in less environmental impact, lower manufacturing power consumption, and a more reliable product overall.

GPU TWEAK III
Monitor, tweak, and tune
The ASUS GPU Tweak III utility takes graphics card tuning to the next level. It allows you to tweak critical parameters including GPU core clocks, memory frequency, and voltage settings, with the option to monitor everything in real-time through a customizable on-screen display. Advanced fan control is also included along with many more features to help you get the most out of your graphics card.

I think this might be a misprice; noticed AWD-IT got another product page for exactly the same card which is £259.99, so hopefully they honour people buying this one

    Sell-out quickly? WHY?

The PC market is in collapse. Last gen, and the gen before etc., products saturate the warehouses, and their performance (memory, MBs, CPUs, GPUs) is fine at the right price. The new is forced to compete with the 'old'. GPU prices have been synthetically high for years now, and MUST come down else ruin the market for GPUs.

Decent console class APUs are approaching, and soon AMD and Intel will be forced to up the CPU bus to 256bit (or higher), allowing APUs to crush current 128-bit GPUs.

The 6600 class GPU is poor by today's standards- a 6800 is the current minimum for acceptable AAA gaming at 1440p going forward. AMD should have the 12GB 6700xt at 200 by now.

One day you'll post something positive on a GPU deal

Just for anybody reading this expired deal, beware the Asus cashback on relevant models. They have declined my claim, and i tell you now I didn't do anything wrong. I tripple checked and tested all my links and uploads and evidences. Not worth the effort, assume you will get the purchase cashback but not the rate my gear cashback. Also, to post a review on most sites, you must click that you are not being incentisivsed for doing so, which is in contravention of the cashback deal so be warned.

I think the cashback deals have ended now anyway.

Does GPU affect video editing & encoding performance?
    S_Kelly's avatar
Absolutely, you would be better with a GPU that offers AV1 encoding (RX 7600 / 4060 / Arc). (edited)

Can't actually add it to basket and purchase...

    Hot. Top find op.

Now need to keep my eyes on my phone.

Set up alerts for GPU and Graphics Card and / or the card model you fancy. This is how I bought my GPU, most of those scorching deals don't last long.

Is this a good upgrade for a Radeon RX580 8gb?
    Big.Wayne's avatar
Techpowerup suggests that an RX 6650XT be over twice as fast as your current RX 580.

Hot hot hot! Been waiting for this to drop to £200 level for ages. Great deal. Ordered!

Looks like it's OOS now based on the search view. Just as I decided to take the plunge!

Having followed the GPU market for a while I ended up buying a 1070 for £115 from CEX a couple of weeks ago to tide me over (I was winging it on my new build on a 650Ti boost up until then). Tbh I'm pleasantly surprised by the 1070, just need the 4090 to come down to £500 now 😜 (edited)

Similar here, I recently got a used 2070 Super for £160 to tide me over, but I also went to take the plunge on this only to find it OOS!! Seems as though it's about on par with the 2070S, but it would have been nice to have a new card with warranty :/

Great deal better than the discounted £219 I paid for mine on Amazon Prime Day!

    HOT!!!
  15. Mark2021-'s avatar
Would this be ideal with a Ryzen 7 5800X3D ?
    toge's avatar
    Sure but it's a bit underpowered for a 5800x3d
  16. Allan_'s avatar
Has it got the free Starfield?
    jerrysimon's avatar
I think they all come with it ?

Mine has with Amazon I got an email after I purchased it.

Amazing price. I paid £231.99 for my ASUS ROG STRIX 6600 XT 8GB card back in Jan 23, and that was a great deal back then.

A minor upgrade to 6650 XT that should pay me to do so. (edited)

Looking to upgrade the Rx 570 4gb in my pc build (bought a cheap one last year waiting on gpu price drops). Use case would be through a 1080p gaming monitor but also a 4k 60hz tv (Hisense E7). I’m assuming 1080p or 1440p upscaled on the tv would still work well with this card? Or would I need something a bit better like the 6700 XT?
    Czubaka's avatar
Hard to tell, If you're thinking about 1440p, 6700xt would probably be a minimum at the moment, all depends on what games you want to be running at 1440p.
