Back again this summer.
Parents will be able to get a free meal for children this summer when they spend just 60p. Tesco has announced the return of its Kids Eat Free scheme for the long holiday spell.
It says it aims to help families with the cost of feeding little ones in the holidays when school meals are not available. It means anyone dining in one of the store's 310 cafes across the UK will be able to get a free children’s meal when a paying adult presents their Clubcard and spends as little as 60p.
The ever-popular offer coincides with the school holidays and will run on weekdays from July 24 to September 1 in England and Wales, from July 3 to September 1 in Northern Ireland and from July 3 to August 11 in Scotland.
Tesco first introduced the initiative to help families as the cost of living crisis impacted many people. It has run the offer over recent holidays when people could get one free Kids Hot Meal Deal, Kids Breakfast or Kids Pick ‘n’ Mix deal with each item bought by an adult from as little as 60p - a piece of fruit - when showing their Tesco Clubcard at the till.
During the last summer school holidays, Tesco says its cafes gave away free meals for more than 260,000 children.

But if I remember correctly when Asda had this offer on they allowed me to buy just 1 item for 2 children to get a meal.
In any case it's a stonking deal.
