Does anyone have experience in how these compare to the Sonos One’s? I’m considering upgrading my surrounds from One’s to Era 100’s, but wondered if it’s much of an upgrade.

I’ve used the ones and era 100, I wouldn’t recommend upgrading if you’ve already got the ones.
Would love to get the era 300s at 20% discount!

£211.65 at Sonos.com (RRP £249) if eligible for 15% discount via their upgrade programme.

Know not everyone can upgrade but posting for comparison for those who can upgrade and who may prefer to buy from Sonos.

2 year warranty with both Peter Tyson and Sonos. (edited)

Edit. This is a reply to . Lots of factors to consider here. If you’re just using as surrounds then I probably wouldn’t bother, but if you’re likely to use as a normal stereo pair and utilise the Era’s additional connectivity and superior sound to its full capacity then, at this price I would upgrade. If you have a sub in your existing set up, the sonic improvements would be less noticeable too. My plan is to slowly replace all my One’s with Era’s to future proof my set up, so there is that to consider too. This price is decent and you should be able to get some good money for your old One’s if you do decide to upgrade. (edited)

I have a few stand alone One’s, and also some connected to Sub and a Beam. Think I’ll hold out until the price drops further this/next year or I’m forced to upgrade due to support.

    Thanks. (edited)

My experience says that the One’s are as good as the Era 100 for general use and they actually sounded better to my ear once trueplayed. Era 300s are a different beast though, but they’re ugly af (edited)

Reminded by this thread, I managed to have another go to fix my long broken SONOS Play 5 1st Gen.
    Guess what, I fixed it!
    Thank you so much!

You should have a 30% trade up credit you can use with Sonos with that older model. Can even be used on sets.
