Are these worth the extra £30 compared to the Ftotthh (put my teeth back in) on Amazon that looks identical and also has very high ratings?

I have a Meaco arete dehumidifier and it’s brilliant but there’s not many compared to it, whereas this looks like an incredibly similar product for 30-40% less (edited)

Amazing fans, have 2. However you'll need to take apart once a year to de-grease and re-grease the articulating joints as dust gets into them pretty easily which over time leads to the fan making a clunking noise when it tries to tilt up and down. It's pretty easy to do and takes about 30 minutes or so but certainly worth it as these fans are excellent. Ours are certainly a lot more effective than our Dyson fan which cost nearly 6x the price.

I have the version on a stand. £120 well spent, recommended

Love these fans I have 3 of them.

I just wish they would switch to their last power state after having the power cut. This would allow me to control them via smart plugs. As it is I have to either use their remote or use an IR blaster.
Having said that I would never consider another fan.

Own one, excellent fan, highly unlikely to get one cheaper than this. Ordered, thanks OP.

I have this and its really good. The only problem I have is that when I use the remote it changes my TV channels!! I wouldn't be without it now though. Its so quiet too

I’ve read nothing but good things about these fans.
Finally pulled the trigger with this deal.

    Thanks OP.

It's the first time in ages where an item with the eBay discount has been worth buying from my perspective. Makes me wonder if it's a pricing error. 🤭

This "deal" is like the SanDisk sd cards.
Still overpriced. Same deal every month. (which makes it not a deal), 80 quid for a fan.

    Just lol

Bet they're cheaper at the end of summer, must be a massive overstock with the cooler weather

What's Hughes customer service like, e.g. if need to return because develops a fault, will they collect?
  17. Stuyb's avatar
Really good fans, though Costco price is as good and better guarantee knowing how good their customer service is.

Own up who literally just bought the last one as I was checking out. So blinking annoying.

I stuttered for the 2% Quidco. (edited)

How does this compair to a 12 quid fan. Does this have built in AC or something?
