Thank you Ordered. Just as a note, the link takes you to Single Bulb only. I went to JL website and the double pack is the same price as single pack so once I added 2No Double pack then it worked ok. Not sure if the link takes you to the right product.

John Lewis Customer services trying to deny deal (for two double packs) ever existed. There's plenty of references above to the fact that it did - but does anyone happen to have a screenshot of their original web page for the deal (showing double packs)? (edited)

Seen this a few times recently with mods messing up peoples posts. Gave you some heat, not made much difference though (edited)

Just started investing in the Wiz system, owned by Philips yet far cheaper, they are brilliant and excellent software app, what does Hue do that Wiz doesn't?

In fact I was ovetly impressed with Wiz

Hue are zigbee smart bulbs, no wifi needed, best features out there, colour dynamic scenes that change are my fav thing

It's £59.99 for two not £95. It's £95.98 for two twin packs which is 4 bulbs. (edited)

The OP/Mod need to update the headline to show this. (edited)

Was looking at these then realised that this isn’t the starter kit as described in the first post so doesn’t come with the bridge. Still a deal, but anyone new to Hue will need a bridge 🏻

Silly question but do these work with wall mounted dimmer switches? Not had the best of luck with Hive bulbs. (edited)

    They flicker

Edit- now it is a deal. £25 is solid price per bul

(Desc prev said 2 bulbs not 4) Not a deal reallly (edited)

People must be bonkers paying nearly 100 smackers for 4 bulbs.
    hotrol's avatar
Can you switch them on/off when not at home, set schedules to do various different things, connect dimmer switches to control which ever lights you choose, connect motion sensors etc etc etc ... oh and have a disco

Not a deal unless £30 or less per GU10. Ideally closer to £25.

It is £23 per bulb. Admin edited the deal from 4 bulbs to 2 bulbs. I have now updated it, but its already gone cold!

Are these much better than Philips Wiz equivalent. I bought a few 2 packs Philips Wiz colour GU10s for £3.50 each when my local Jacks closed. They seem pretty good and I'm pleased with them, but have never compared them directly with Philips Hue GU10's (edited)

What prices have these gone for historically on Black Friday deals etc? I’m in no rush so wondering if it’s worth waiting, or whether this is a similar deal
    paulw123's avatar
Never seen them a this low price, paid £45 each for mine
  13. neonplanet40's avatar
Far too much for x2. £78 amazon (edited)
    mgweightman's avatar
Is that not for non colour ones?

Description/price/title messed up apparently, 2 x bulb (as per title) is £59.99 could be decent with code. Starter kit with 3 and hub (as per description) is £169, can't see where 109 comes from
  15. starletep91's avatar
Does this gu10 have a higher output compared to previous ones? (edited)
    paulw123's avatar
yeah more lumens, can't remember the numbers
shorter as well, same size as standard GU10

2DDs first deal, so sucks that it's went awry for them. But I can see by following link that the £95 is for when you stack 2, 2 packs, giving you 4 bulbs. Sadly I think it's gone too cold to recovery, perhaps HUKD will let them repost this with the correct details.

Good deal/price for 4 bulbs. Amazon recently had 3 of these bulbs at approx this price point about a month ago. Heat added, thanks OP

Heat! I’ve been waiting for the GU10 bulbs to go under £25 a bulb for ages! I’ve stocked up on quite a few as some of my older bulbs have started to fail and they are out of warranty.

    Also great first deal! (edited)

Just checked my order and it's been changed from two double packs of lights to two singles, anyone else had this?
    WeeEric's avatar
Yes, same here: they're now denying their website ever showed double packs as part of the deal.

Now they're telling me the HUE244 code expired at the end of July!! (edited)

Now out of stock online so the deal needs expiring. My understanding is that you cannot use codes for in store purchases even if your local store does still have stock.
  27. Solosiam's avatar
They just refunded me for my order of this saying they are out of stock.
    TightNortherner's avatar
So they’ve been dipping in and out of stock all day. As of right now they are back in stock. They have 36 in stock currently according to their website.
