I've got an Xbox Series X and an old but still very passable gaming PC. Tempted by this but also saving for a new CPU and motherboard.

Difficult decision but ultimately I'm not sure that the PS exclusive games are worth buying a PS5 for if Xbox and PC are owned alternatives.

Save the money for a new CPU and/or graphics card. Most 'Sony Exclusives' will be released for PC (with time delays, obviously). See here for more info about the lineup of PS games available/coming to PC!! (edited)

Looks like this deal and similar deals offered by most other retailers on the disc edition have now ended. Prices back up by £70-100!

Yeah bad timing, was about to buy one last night and said to the missus I'll go through all the deals properly today, now everywhere back up to original RRP which I thought had now been brought down. Ah well, guess I'll have to wait until later in the year now.

All 5 of those are great games, my personal pick would be Demons Souls or Ghost Of Tsushima, however if being bought for the kiddies then can't go wrong with Ratchet & Clank.
Both Sackboy and Death Stranding are also excellent btw.

It will be smaller, cheaper, and will use less lekky, a major bonus right now, and the next playstation showcase is this month, possibly when this sale is over and they have cleared out a high percentage of this model from retailers.

Bargain when bought with the PS Plus Ultimate Subscription with the saving. Great console, however suggest add to this extra SSD storage as well as out of the box storage is pants

Isn't it over 800gb? My Xbox One S has 500gb and can fit loads of games. Same as my ps4 over 100 games. You don't need to have every game installed just a few big ones then uninstall when finished with.

Well, Sony have a state of play for this week, were the new PS5 optional disc driver version will be announced.....so all those that held off, you are about to be rewarded.....supposedly this version will retail for £320, with the add-on drive coming in at £99 or slightly under...........with both present versions of the PS5 no longer in production, as this new revision covers both SKU in one go......so here we go.......let the good times roll. :-) (edited)
