A few reductions today on exercise gear, with the below just being a few examples. The first one below looks pretty good for a budget machine, but if you really can't see yourself using the cross trainer all that much, I'd actually consider spending the £146 on the standalone bike here.

I know nothing about exercise bike specs, but is a 4kg flywheel a negative? I'm looking for something suitable for someone with a degenerative knee to aid weight loss

Don't use exercise as your main wait to lose weight. Use exercise (in this case the bike) to get fit, healthy and strengthen your knee. Eating in a calorie deficit will be the way to lose weight. Eg its easier to eat 300 less calories per day than it is to burn 300 calories each and every day through exercise. A 4kg flywheel is on the lighter side but it really depends on whats suitable for you. Worth doing some googling before buying (edited)

What would you recommend for burning belly fat? I have no idea what's a good deal was thinking of a folding treadmill.

You can’t burn fat in specific areas - body doesn’t work like that. You gotta lose body fat overall

What's better: 60 mins on elliptical OR 40mins where 5mins warm up and then 30s of sprint every 3mins. The latter kills me but I'm convinced it's 'better'

Better? Depends on what you're trying to achieve
