Ryzen 7600
Asus A620 motherboard.
Adata 16gb 5200mhz ram.
Gigabyte 750w Gold PSU
Palit RTX 3070 graphics card.
1st player T3 Case
Adata 1TB NVME

Price £850.00

Nearest "Nvidia /ddr5" rival is from AWD-IT with their 7600 / 4060ti system that starts at £899.99 time u boost theirs to 1tb nvme from 480GB SSD and upgrade PSU from 650w bronze gigabyte to 750w gold gigabyte its £947.97

Awd does have a free booster of 16GB to 32gb 4800mhz but time u recalc their 32gb 5200mhz at 35 or their cost on 6000mhz calc the near same cost as palicomp 16gb to their 32gb in boost price, so awd has no edge on that sence, except perhaps any free game bundles but certainly not the price gap

So having a 3070 system ddr5 system at around £90 less then that 4060ti is great for prebuilt buyers.

Many boosters on line.

Higher cpu.
Higher psu in promo
Ram options.
Cooler options.
4070 amd 4070ti

Can anyone recommend a cheap as chips build for a budget video editing system?

The only requirement is it must have 64GB ram, so I guess it might need to be built around the cheapest ram I can get.

    Thanks.

    Easy this one >

    hotukdeals.com/dea…598

    £275

Phone them up they should be able to put 2 x 32GB RAM in that system for additional cost. RAM doesn't cost loads now will probably add £100 or so to the price. Then it will do the job for you on the cheap.

Before I get ripped to shreds - I don't know what I am doing but trying to figure out best value for money gaming PC for my son. What is the better deal - this one at 850 or Sarden's previous post hotukdeals.com/dea…075 at 590??

depends on your budget and what your son will want to play and on what monitor.
if gaming at 1080p the 590 post should be fine. if 1440p you'll want this deal atleast.

Hi Sarden Thanks for your usual great deals, this looks good for me as id like to go for DDR5 but not massively bothered about splashing extra on a 40 series. id prob add an extra 16Gb of ram maybe tweek the cooler. can you reccomend anything looking at about £1100 and ill prob need to add windows.

Would i also need to upgrade the motherboard to the wifi version?

    Cheers Eddie (edited)

Windows is something easy and much cheaper to add yourself, load it onto a USB thumb drive from old PC / laptop and stick that into new PC, various guides online

Hi Sarden! This or your latest £850 Starfield deal in your opinion ? Mainly for gaming and light video editing.

Sarden this deal is over five weeks old now, though it is still available on the Palicomp website, I wonder if it's still good value? I'm struggling between the various 5600(x) / 3060 builds at around £690 or paying the extra £150 for something like this one with ddr5 and the 3070. Looking to replace my existing third Gen i7 / gtx970 so I can run new / upcoming games (Motorfest & TDU solar crown)
