Add some awesome to your day with the Galaxy A34 5G smartphone. Ace your social shots with a 48MP camera with Light Boost, revel in an Infinity-U display, and keep going with a marathon battery. So whether you want to scroll socials all day, create fabulous content, or enjoy a streaming binge, you can do it all …and do it longer.

Triple camera with Light Boost
Galaxy A34’s triple camera lets you shoot close-up detail, epic scale and everything in between, all in ready-to-post quality. Just point, shoot …and share.

Yes, creating social-ready pics and videos on Galaxy A34 is super simple. Its 48MP main camera comes with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) so however crazy the scene, shots are smooth and clear. And when you want to go for that extra big group shot or stunning landscape, switch to the 8MP ultra-wide camera. Close-ups also look amazing with a 5MP macro lens. And when it gets dark, Light Boost kicks in to capture all the fun …no flash needed.

Infinity-U display
This screen has plenty of room. Want console-like gaming on the bus? With a 120Hz refresh rate, games are super smooth and lag-free. And when streaming films, immerse yourself in the crisp detail of the FHD+ Infinity-U display. Even in direct sunlight, scrolling through socials looks just as good thanks to high brightness (1000 nits, to be precise).

Powered up
When you need your phone at the ready from morning to night, Galaxy A34 is with you all the way. A 5000mAh battery gives you more than enough juice for constantly impulse-checking your socials, or more useful stuff like multitasking. And it’s compatible with 25W fast charging too, to get you back up in super-quick time (25W travel adapter sold separately).

Tough enough
Thanks to IP67 protection, drink spills, rain showers, or dusty conditions won’t stop you from scrolling the day away. (IP67 rating means submersion in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 mins. Not advisable for beach, pool use or soapy water.)

5G capability
Say bye-bye to buffering. The super-fast 5G ready connection zips through downloads at record pace. Stream, browse, and watch whatever you want, wherever you want. Waiting forever for your Instagram feed to load up will be a distant memory.

Is it worth getting the enterprise edition its the same price on employee portal? I am thinking of replacing a M52 5g is it much of an upgrade? Thanks in advance (edited)

Actually I stand corrected, the M52 5G is a considerably faster device. The A34 is a major downgrade.

I'm not familiar with Samsung's lower end naming conventions but is this a newer A10?

Not really, the A series is A1x, A3x, A5x, The current update to the A10 would be the A14.

(this is better... in the Samsung shop the sales guy said this (A34) is the bang for buck sweet spot). (edited)

If anyone has StudentBeans, the price comes down to £224.10…. Price just dropped this morning (was £310 last night!)

Yes good deal indeed but the Amazon merchant not entertained by HUKD. There is also a German Version round about £260 mark.

went for the 256GB / 8GB RAM model at £269. Fed up of these chinese phones and manafacturers just stopping updates.

agree its definitely the biggest issue with them - sons Motorolla was initially great but basicly nothing by way of updates

I had this as an in-between phone while mine was off for repair and I have to say I was so impressed with it for the price. Proper bang for buck with this blower

Bought one for my wife 2 weeks ago to replace her OnePlus 9 pro (awful battery) and she's been really impressed with it so far. Cheap ns very cheerful

Looking to upgrade my A52 5G which is still alright, but seems to have picked up a few bugs along the way with the many software updates, and a slowly dying battery.

This phone looks very similar to that just with a more modern chipset and reset the clock on the 4 years of OS updates.

£224.10 (128GB / 6GB RAM) on my work portal is also enticing. The 256GB / 8GB RAM model is also only £269.10 which seems like a bargain.

Just ordered through the EPP site for £224, thanks mate. It was this price a few weeks ago when I promised my son it for his bday next month, went up in price the next day. Good deal

£174 with Blue Light Discount and £50 trade in for my iPhone 8 64gb

    I’m happy! Thanks so much

They are quite fussy about which phones they give a trade in on mine would get £26 with Nokia but unwanted here though this has much better length of updates.

tbf.. I dunno myself whether the extra £50 is worth +2Gb RAM and +128Gb storage. obviously a bargain compared with Apple prices but dunno if the RAM might help future proof it. It should get 4 Android version upgrades and 5 years of security patches
    The_E101's avatar
Yes 100% spend more if you can afford it as it's future proofing. My A32 is slowing down after 2 years, wish I had more RAM. So the 5 years of updates is actually slowly killing my phone. Not impressed (edited)

This or the Poco 5 deal and how does this compare to Redmi note 10 pro?
    MDL199's avatar
I personally loathe MIUI and much prefer Samsung's One UI so that would be one reason I choose a Samsung. According to Verses the Samsung beats out the Redmi 10 Pro but the Poco 5 is slightly better.50851214-3SAQZ.jpg (edited)
