You either save more money and go RX7900XTX for same/better performance

Or you spend £300 more and go 4090.

No DLSS with AMD cards.I won’t pass judgment on drivers though. But yes spend the 270 quid more and get the 4090 if you are contemplating this 4080.

Why does this POS even exist? If you are a single male 'hobbyist' or earn from your card, you obviously own a 4090. If you are any type of normal sane gamer, you obviously would never pay this much money (especially for such a compromised GPU architecture- new games are running like sheet on Ngreedia products).

The 4080 should have been a 650 quid card at most (and when it finally gets there, like the 3080 family, no-one will want it).

Biggest laugh? Those who claim FAKE FRAMES and fake rez are a reason to buy TOP END ngreedia. If I thought top end was worth it, I darn well would expect such a GPU to do well without such dreadful tricks.

Sounds like you understand supply and demand. So you can probably answer yourself as to why the card is priced as it is.

They're not going to obsolete prev gens topline by undercutting it.

I waited and waited for this to be a reasonable price and this seasons conspiracy of AI but it took forever but thank God after decades moved to AMD and will not look back.

I'VE waited a year upgraded my 10 year old pc to a new one maybe last November still the prices are crazy, I currently have a GTX 780 from 10 years ago honestly having borrowed by bothered 4080 there difference in graphics quality is over rated, these cards are 3x the price they should be. I will upgrade maybe later as I've stopped playing games but tbh only some recent games don't work and I think thats more intentional rather than the gpu not being able to cope

Yeah its all a fix with drivers this is why Intel have no chance unless they create a GPU that blows everyone away which they won't. it's all Hype for now. I wished voodoo still existed tbh. oh well.
