sorted byFor certain apps that detect that your device is not native android, you can use gbox or one of the other google play service emulator type things. I think there is another way but I have not looked too deep into it.
It is a shame about the lack of google support, but it is VERY easy to work around this. In fact, Huawei provide their own Petal Search feature built in to the tablet, which lets you download and install google/android apps.
