Not bad, but no SD card slot, and it won't have any googly stuff on it being Huawei and banned in the US. To much faff like a fire tab to bother with.

Great specs and price to match. But without Google or Windows it will be hard to use.

    You can install it easily

Does anyone know which method needs to be used to install google services on this device please?

Out the box you can run google apps simply by searching for them on the Petal Search app that is built in and then install them through there.
For certain apps that detect that your device is not native android, you can use gbox or one of the other google play service emulator type things. I think there is another way but I have not looked too deep into it.

Nice to see everything you need to be productive in the box. Hot from me. (edited)

I can't stress how good Huawei tablets are! So many great ease-of-use features, and the battery optimisation is usually better than all the competition, outlasting models with higher capacities. Huawei genuinely have such great design philosophies and never release a model that feels cheap or inferior to any other device.
It is a shame about the lack of google support, but it is VERY easy to work around this. In fact, Huawei provide their own Petal Search feature built in to the tablet, which lets you download and install google/android apps.
