Market:

As builders in respect of the 13400F DDR5 Systems go; that are closest

this will be interesting for intel..

We are talking £1295 at palcomp that is here when u boost that link to 32gb DDR5 /4070 inline with the theme of the above. they do the asrock board, windows thrown in and higher nvme drive, Not worth that £100, unless u are a user that likes the storms and then clicks on that "add windows", then of course it opens the gate up with a preforced windows package.

Meanwhile AWD-IT starts at 1199.99 (incorrectly) but you got to change typical 480GB SSD to a 1TB nvme at £20 onsite that is typical cross all AWD deals, but also on top of that of that its an extra £20 for the 750W GOLD, and then u notice its actual the DDR4 version, so thats a fail by me, and seeking their up ones with fancy cases, there still ddr4 version, but i remember my old statement and one of the key reason i pushed palicomp forced windows system deal with DDR5, last time because it beat DDR4 intel system or on the toe of them.

And that is message everywhere, you look around the net, not about being the cheapest, or upto the 3rd cheapest line, its just an impossable to find a low ball DDR5 13400F system that feature DDR5, here is another example its 1133 time u remove the windows for a 12400F/4070/DDR4 system at ccl which if u wasnt bothered about 13400F and happy for the 12400F u can save £50 at storm and get a DDR5 with 32GB vs 16GB DDR4 12400F at CCL.

looking at the site that cant be mention on here, its few hundred quid more for their ddr4 version, so god us help what their smoking these days.

so credit to Stormforce for doing a DDR5 version on the money, the downside to this DDR5 version is the case, id of loved to move on past the MB320 Case, its not a bad case but market has changed in respect of open air matx cases by cheaper brands that our doing better then some brands like cooler master, and that i feel needs a pitching, other then then that its a rock solid DDR5 system in value.

and u get three years all inclusive warrenty* see terms on site.

so for 13400F/DDR5 it sets the sail motion going, which i hope perhaps might just give the others a good kicking.

PS: ive said about custom pitching above so ill do it on this next one too, i did find a DDR5 13400F but it feature 3060Ti at £950, obvious u got to boost the 1tb nvme at £20,
we could pitch at £50 for the 13400F via the call, we could do £40 more for 32GB 5200mhz or higher, so thats what £1060.00

general price of 3060Ti to 4070 is around the £240 which in this one at AWD(bad opening value deal but good for drop menu pointers) in the drop down as example, so £1060 + 240 = £1300.00

if that was possible is it better storms £1175 deals, at £125 more?

obvious we do that lancool case the branded version of the palcomp gamemax verion with its 2x200mm fans at £1275,AWD dont have the windows like we do at the palicomp one, but they do have the ATX Gigabyte board, so not worth the £125 more, but worth some of that £125 so AWD has the parts to challenge an upper case version and coming in 2nd or 3rd place,, and obvious from there they could do their budget case version, with their air model, problem is who ever doing their marketing atm is being rather lazy on that front.

PS: Desire a custom cooler, get on the whistle to Stormforce, they are part of VIP group, so no excuses,

So do you recommend it or not, I can't tell from the spiel.

CPU - i5-13400F 10 cores / 16 threads - Good enough for just about any current gaming
GPU - RTX 4070 12GB good enough for 1440P gaming for most games and some 4K gaming
RAM - 32GB DDR5 - Enough for any current gaming
MOTHERBOARD - B760M-K Weak point of this system, connectivity is average and no USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports Easily fixed with addon PCIe cards if required.
SSD - 1TB NVMe - Might need more space sooner rather than later, cheap to add another
PSU - 750W Corsair - Good enough for this system (edited)

thx for this. Was looking for an upgrade... I normally build my own but I'm behind by 3 generations and might as well change everything. I see you've put up an amd option as well. In your opinion, what are the pros/cons of each? I would be using it to play games and use Adobe Ps, Lr. I've seen online that maybe amd is better at gaming but Intel is better at CPU focused workloads?

    Morning pal.

suggest to follow the Tube videos on 13400F vs 7600, they can go though more interesting points raised in the cross over battle then i could ever write home about via text based forum but ur on the right path.

but i can go Cross overs Builder vs builder part vs part.

    13400F VS 7600
Asus 4070 Dual vs Palit 4070 Dual
Asus B760M-K VS ASUS PRIME TUF A620m-Plus WIFI Motherboard
    Western Digital 1.0TB SN570 Vs ADATA 1TB Legend 800 GEN4 M2
    Corsair Vengeance 32GB 5200 C40 vs ADATA 32GB Caster DDR5 6000Mhz
Cooler Master MB320 Case vs 1ST PLAYER T3 ARGB
Corsair RME750W GOLD vs GIGABYTE 750W V2 GOLD

    1) CPU battle = Tube.
    2) Asus dual vs palit, = no major different same kinda league or set up TBH.
    3) B series is a higher standard, but thats a low B, vs a higher A, plus the A620 was one of the later releases out of the market range, so asus has made some interesting grounds up on the A620, the phase on the A620 tuf is really sweet, here is a guide on A620 Vs B650 techspot.com/gui…ds/ that be the same token for A620 vs B760(for the intels) but as stated its a low K board vs a upper A620 with decent VMs, just A620 will lack certain feature that majorty of the market will not even miss and that link goes though em, also has wifi thrown in. so i cant give storm any credit for B series, except just a nice have for very selective few.
    4) Classic good gen 3 vs a budget gen 4, = even steel.
    5) Ram, obvious the 6000mhz will be a nice boost, more so on the ryzen then intels, so thats a very good hav, that will help in areas where the 7600 comes of weaker then the 13400f in performance, so that will be a helpfull fight back.
    6) Case at palicomp with its open mesh is better.
    7) V2 on gold by gigabyte is a nice psu, people are still worried over the v1, so more peace of mind on the corsair, overall standards if we scrap the thought on the v1, is that Corsair is a better quality psu grade,

Warrenty, 3 years inclusive at storms, 1 year parts + 3 years labour at palicomp for retail warrenty.
u will still have whatever warrenty the parts are suggestion on the manurfactor site.

i.e the Gigabyte 750W GOLD has a 5 Year warrenty, and the corsair will have a 7 Year warrenty. (edited)

Thanks for posting this. It says apparently the original price was only £10 more... would you say that's accurate?

Brand new line pal, its Crystal 6430, maybe dropped a further 10er from original but its all new.

where as the older AM4 4070 deal was Crystal 6328 and then i posted their AM4 4070ti that was Crystal 6331

ill be taking a relook into the base model, but that price is a can of worms and needs lot of work on for a sep post, where as the 4070 inside of it is a stonking deal.

Stormforce Systems Gaming PC are general not very competive, as they like to boost and bloat about "excellent services, and warrenty" which i agree is smashing, but sometimes i feel the cost of the of something very costly, the key to them not usual being on it like say palicomp and AWD is because of the nature of how they trade.

they are a retail trader, so ull find these in "argos, very". explains the high fee.

so its a rare diamond for them to be on here; to be at PCPP part rate with a next to nothing or NIL build fee, so when they come i jump for bargain hunters.

Stormforce is owned by VIP group who are massive disti, they have access to parts from asus, gigabyte and msi, and major others, stormforce is mostly a corsair/cooler mast case with asus DNA though.

    # They serious do need to open more channels with more part ideas, theres no excuse.

Hopefully my good post are continuing to hurt the retail side of prebuilt so we have more system sellers in the mix then doing buisness though 3rd party with exceptional high fees, and then having back up sites to confirm trade prices who seek to go direct.

Really good deal, I’ve tried looking up the cheapest price of all individual parts online and my total got to 1,172£ …that with no cpu cooler. Considering this is 7£ short of the deal price, and including the free gift and the cashback, this is outstanding, given the crazy prices today. First pre-built pc that catches my eyes. Hot
    Willy_Wonka's avatar
That is the point of the deal. It is built for you but costs less money than doing it yourself.

    Bargain.
  5. Antonyb91's avatar
It’s a nice deal but I’m concerned about the stock cooler for gaming, if it could be changed I’d be tempted to jump on it

Seems like a good deal but it says the board is a ddr4 board so I’m confused
    Willy_Wonka's avatar
    They do both versions.

Stupid I know but they do. Not just Asus, they all do. If you google Asus B760M-K DDR5 you will see.
  13. bsw's avatar
    Seems like a great system.
On further inspection of the pictures on the site, bit concerned about the small looking stock cooler in the i5. Would this be sufficient?

Also no USB-C on the rear I/O yet there is still PS/2 ports for keyboard and mouse... Didn't these go out with the dinosaurs? 🤷🏻‍♂️
    Willy_Wonka's avatar
The cooler is fine for general stuff. You can get a 6 pipe thermalright for £20 if you want to step it up.

Would the cpu not bottleneck the gpu?
    fishmaster's avatar
10 core / 16 thread CPU with better single thread performance than a 5800X3D? Absolutely no way is this CPU bottlenecking the GPU.

Worth uprating the PSU and taking the 2 TB nvme?
    Sarden84's avatar
    Author
Thats the spec of the PSU for this one, certainly is if u require the 4070

    (2Tb = more, do u need more?)

I didnt do the low ball version of this link at first as more market research was needed with a varient of new links to go over, where as the 4070 was pretty much a plane sailer in the battle between 4 firms, (edited)

do you know if stormforce offer upgraded cpu options on this build like the 13600k?
    Sarden84's avatar
    Author
    Others have yeah;

    1) call to ask price. "if i order via web, how much would this upgrade cost". ty' good bye. put phone down.
    2) order via topcashback for the 5%.
    3) call to upgrade.

same message everywhere a) play with marketing team deals b) pitch ur own deal vs a headset chicken in a call centre :D.

Deals are general based on a theme, that theme is a part inside, so maybe GPU reduced, maybe the case, or board, allways be that item that is done.

if u move an item from A->B. how much that part normal, how much is the new? is that gap worth it to the market, these are ur own personal deal checks. (edited)

  20. Willy_Wonka's avatar
You have brought DDR5 RAM for a DDR4 board.

Go to PCPartpicker & start looking at your build on there.

    Also, you M.2 is poor.

Looks like I’m going to be cancelling my order been 3 weeks tomorrow and they now tell me there’s no eta for it so I’ll have to look elsewhere for a prebuilt…..
    Antonyb91's avatar
Don’t even bother ordering from Stormforce they don’t even have the parts and they don’t know when they are getting them, I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for nothing and now I’ve got to go hunting for another pc now and mines been broke for 3 weeks
