Maybe claim this but don’t play it yet as they claim they are going to revamp it all cyberpunk style

I loved playing saints row online.

Big ass chains and protect the pimp were so fun.

Nearly completed this over a weekend when it was available for free on Xbox. Don’t think I’ll start it on the PlayStation.

It’s nowhere near as bad as some people make out.

How did Sony think increasing all their teir prices so much would be ok if they made this game the psplus game this month? Lol

Not my cup of tea (even the older ones that were well regarded) but it's one of those "makes sense to put on PS Plus" kind of games. (edited)

I almost bought this on Steam since it's on sale, glad that I didn't

Got this free from game with the ps5 deal a few weeks ago. Well worth a play through. Go in with an open mind and you'll be surprised.
I loved the first and 2nd games and didn't like the later ones, so I was surprised to enjoy this one.
Most of the review bombs are due to it being "woke" and all that jazz, but there's nothing thrown in your face, one of the supporting crew is Bi and that's about all I picked up on.

The story is weak, and the city isn't exactly "living and breathing" but it's a fun game, the business building, while straight forward is a very good side objective and an intro into some of the classic activites like Mayhem and insurance fraud.

The map itself is good, massive upgrade on steelport with varied environments, quite small but it's enjoyable to get around, unlike say GTA 5 which just becomes a chore to drive through.

Music gets old quickly due to only having a handful of licensed tracks, but there's always Spotify through console to save that.

if you're going in expecting saints 1 or 2, it's not for you, samely if you preferred 3rd and 4th games. It's a decent balance between 2 and 3.

Arthue Daley vs Del Boy...who would win in a sell more challenge?

    Are they Saints Row characters?

The game's reception is appropriate, it's mediocre to the max. The boss has some very funny lines but the supporting cast are terrible, the world is bland, it's short, everything of meaning unlocks pretty quick, and there's an entire section of the map there's just no point visiting because there's nothing going on there.

For free you can probably eke out some enjoyment from it but don't expect SR2 or even SR3.

I'm interested in trying this and making my own mind up. I liked SR3 but I have absolutely no attachment to the franchise so I don't care about new characters etc and I don't think the old games were especially good either.

It will move a few copies now. Will easily be downloaded over 2 million

i played it after the big update and never saw any major bugs. i quite enjoyed the shooting gameplay, the story and writing is as bad as everyone says though.

literally sold my xbox series x version last week without playing it much... felt a bore compared to the first 3 but this is great can now go back to it on my ps5
  26. bargainhunter2409's avatar
It's like ps+ watch what games I buy a physical copy of and then for a giggle put them immediately after on ps+ lol
    InfoAddict's avatar
The long disciplined tactic is to avoid paying for anything outside of the sub. I don't do it myself but it probably works out in the long term that nearly all games someone wants hit the service eventually.
