Hey guys my contract runs out in a few months of a 24 month sim only deal. Its basically doubled in price since the start..how do I keep my existing number and move to something like this deal? At present I have 160gb data , never use that much anything from 20 to 50 gb will do

guess you could get a cheap one pound 30 day lyca sim. They port the next day, then get this deal and just port back. Lyca porting is all online and very simple.

New EE customers only. Are there any deals for existing customers on rolling contracts? I have been on an overpriced monthly rolling contract for over a year now (edited)

Can’t you port your number onto a pay and go sim for someone else, then sign up as a new customer with ee and port your number back? (edited)

Leaving EE after two years. Great coverage and zero complaints bar their price. £25 a month for 125GB then £15 a month for EU roaming. I’m off to Spain for six weeks so that’s £80. ID mobile £20

Leaving EE too. I was paying £20 a month for 150GB and with their price increases ended up paying £25/month. I chose Virgin on 1 month contract because you can use all your data for EU roaming. Plus unused data roll over. With ID mobile you have a cap. If a better deal comes up i will switch again. (edited)

Just looking at this, when i add the student code the 10Gb additional drops off the basket... I've just added the code from student beans as the discount code when going through the order. Something I'm doing wrong?

This is a standard price now. This will work with your company perks scheme too. Go though BT link and deal with double data will be presented. Also be mindful of price increase every April. Best time to buy this is just after so you only get hit for a year.

    Oh wow thank you!!!!!!

Anyone know when this expires? Gotta get my brother on this ASAP but he's not coming home until Friday, then the porting business.
    R0BUST's avatar
The same offer has been going on since March so you would be really unlucky if it ended before Friday!

Note the essentials plan caps speed to 100Mbps

Smarty/3/ Vodafone do not cap (edited)

when browsing on 5G I think most people will notice the lower latency more than the actual peak bandwidth. Worth considering how much the very occasional time you might save a few
Seconds on a large download is actually worth!

Try 1p mobile, uses EE, 30 day contract and includes roaming.
    shutsy2003's avatar
Only up to 14GB EU roaming on larger data plans

Has anybody managed to stack a BLC or student code to this?

Nice, am due to renew next month when my Three unlimited 5g data £10 deal runs out - Usually end up having to borrow the Mrs phone who is on EE - pretty woeful throughput on Three in Glasgow and out and about Scotland in general when in our camper.

    Heat!

Does anybody know if EE follow up if you're actually a BT customer or not?

Will the price jump after the term ends? Got 6x o2 contacts. Paying the same but hate the network
  15. JimmyLo's avatar
Morning all. I’ve just moved onto Lyca mobile to try and benefit from the EE network after having not great O2 signal in my area. However, I never seem to get anything more than LTE and the coverage inside is really poor. Would being on EE direct provide a better signal than on the Lyca MVNO network? TIA for anyone who has knowledge of this

ive been on this for about a year, £9 for BT BB, but i assumed i couldnt leave BT Broadband without EE cost going up but people are saying they dont check? anyone verify in this scenario?

reason i want to is BT cant offer me FTTP but Fibreheroes through their partners can do, but i didnt want to end up paying a load for EE Sim, so i havent moved yet?

    thanks.

Just saw a new network advertising on my FB that also runs on EE, has anybody heard of SPUSU? (edited)
    Pigsy.'s avatar
Nope, but wouldn't trust anything on FB regardless.

I am an existing customer, I have just asked for my PAC, 20 minutes later missed a call from EE.
Has anyone had any experience getting this deal, coming to an end of their contract.
    Baddan95's avatar
They'll offer you what you want
  22. notoriouschucky's avatar
I dont suppose any kind soul has a student code they can give me?
  23. spinach_pie's avatar
So not necessary to have BT to get this?
  24. Lefty's avatar
Just a note to say I am an existing customer, and asked for a PAC code as I couldn’t get this.
Had a call back from loyalty team within the hour and was offered 60g (30g doubled as a BT customer) for £9 (BT discount brings it down to £8.10).

Thought it might help others (edited)
    Lin_688's avatar
Hi do you know if I will be able to ask for a pac code if my contract still has 2 months left?
  25. Wackawackaboomboom's avatar
Got told I'll get a call back in 24-48 hours to confirm some details .. what's this mean anyone know?
    breathe3asy's avatar
    What was it?
  26. kash786's avatar

  27. saqibhasan101's avatar
won't register unless you have BT it seems.
    Jammy_Hamster's avatar
Can you explain what you mean by won’t register? (I don’t have BT phone but comment elsewhere saying they cannot or don’t check?)
  28. nobbynuts's avatar
Are the speeds capped if I buy through the BT website?
