To give you some idea of how good this price is, Amazon are selling this Body Only for £159.99!

The WORX WX516 20V Max lithium-ion reciprocating saw joins the ever expanding Powershare battery range. Reciprocating saws make projects easier. They perform easily through very labour-intensive applications, and can cut just about anything! working with multiple materials and applications can be fickle, but with a No-load speed of 3,200 Rpm and a pendulum function, you will benefit from improved cutting efficiency when sawing through wood, PVC pipe, and steel materials.

Designed with a tool-less blade change system, time will be efficiently spent on the jobs that matter. Your hands will thank you, the WX516 is comfortable, the rubber over mould offers a cosy grip.

The adjustable Pivot foot plate provides a larger contact surface for stability, and when it comes to power, the WX516 has plenty to get the job done.

The Powershare 20V battery is interchangeable with other WORX tools, so you can conveniently switch batteries between tools, and never be short for power.

I agree, I'm so tempted to get one .
However 10mins is pretty disappointing.. I'll stick with the worxs mains powered version I have lol ..

This is where having a collection of Worx powershare tools comes in handy, you've always got a battery (or 2) charged and ready to go. (This is what I told Mrs B )

My first Worx purchase was the mower/strimmer bundle which came with a dual fast battery charger which invariably has 2 batteries charging up. Very handy (edited)

I have an Einhell and it's an amazing tool. I use mine for all sorts - the MVP of all my cutting tools (and possibly tools full stop).

Great for taking off medium tree branches but will tackle larger cuts if you're careful and come at it so as not to trap the blade - I've taken down trees as tall as my house with mine.

I get far more than 10 mins from a 3Ah battery, let alone a 4Ah - for larger jobs I'll be using one while charging another.

Good blades make a massive difference, as does using the right blade for the job. They don't need to be expensive though, and they'll last ages on wood. If the blade gets too hot then let it cool or swap between a couple.

I recommend the Erbauer blades in a pack of 5 from Screwfix. (edited)

The ebay title says "battery charger and case" , but the description says in bold "PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A BODY ONLY UNIT. BATTERY & CHARGER ARE SOLD SEPARATELY."

    And underneath that it says

    "Included in your purchase:

    x1 WX516
    x1 4.0Ah Battery
    x1 Charger
    x1 Wood cutting Blade
    x1 Metal cutting Blade
    x1 Carry Case/Bag"

I have the non-brushless version and it's been brilliant for so many jobs. Ordered this as a standby for when my current one finally breaks (no sign yet!).

Can you use this for cutting bigger klin dried logs into smaller ones?
    BenjaminDover99's avatar
Not really. You'd need to be able to clamp the log and it would take a while for anything more than 3 or 4 inches thick. Great for chopping medium branches from trees & cuts where you don't need too much precision.

This looks very similar to the Parkside Performace sabre saw (£60 - body only). I wonder if it's the same machine.

These Bosch blades are great for a clean cut &/ or for cutting through nails and screws:

These are awesome for branches and quick cuts through chipboard and other wood (although I bought mine for £9.50 last year so worth shopping around):

How are people getting on with this? How much battery life?

I've got the weedier capacity batteries on my Worx drill. Can you use these with this tool, or would they drain in a second and not be worth it?

What's the best way of acquiring another beefy spare battery for this? Can you put in a Lidl special, or is that a non-goer?
