    DO NOT BUY THIS.

I have this (wireless) and battery lasts about 2 weeks max. Tried a variety of sensitivity and motion settings, and I feel like they do diddly squat. Sometimes it could be on the highest setting and it'll not notice someone walking all the way up to the doorbell.

Maybe yours is faulty. I’ve had mine for a few days now and seems to catch anyone that comes near my driveway as I’ve set the activity zone to cover that area.

And for sure it captures anyone approaching the door before they get to the bell. Notifies me straight away.

Had this doorbell for my mum now over a year. Can't fault it.
Timely notifications when doorbell rang and battery lasts about 100 days on doorbell notification only

That’s good to hear as I just bought it earlier and installed it.

A few people in the comments are saying not to get it and that it doesn’t detect people etc.

Did the company ever fix the unencrypted feeds that could be hijacked ?
I know they denied it at first and finally admitted it when red handed.

I don't know if it was fixed or not but it was blownn out of proportion for the most part.

The biggest issue is that they lied. But the exploit itself wasn't that big of an issue.

You could only hijack the feed IF you were logged into the account AND the feed was live at that point.

Don't forget these doorbells are trigger based, they don't record constantly. So they'd first need to have your username and password, and then constantly keep checking to see if the feed was live.

People made out like they could just get the URL to your video feed, paste it into their browser and access the feed. That's far from the case.

Not voted either way, but save your money for something better!
I bought one, same as this, from Costco. It never works as expected. Even when at home, on the same network the doorbell notification is about 5 minutes late. When away from home it's sometimes even an hour.
Motion detection is very hit and miss. I've tried tweaking the settings endlessly but it doesn't work. My son works varying hours, often it never picks him up leaving or coming back.
Truly dissatisfied and disappointed with the performance of this doorbell!

Yep, had mine for more than a year and could not resolve the problems with delays in notification and also intercom function.
    Ali2021's avatar
Could you elaborate on the delays? Is it when you’re out or something?
