    I bought some Bridgestone tyres like this. They haven't even lasted 2 years, bearing in mind i do less than 8000 miles per year. So basically crumbling and worn out after 12,000 miles. I'll just get normal tyres in future and avoid Bridgestone. Included my receipt as I know it sounds insane. Having to get new ones this week to pass MOT.

    The prices might be ok but Halfords took 4 hours to fit 2 tyres the other day , go to a reliable tyre fitter done in less than 45 minutes

    4 hours?? You could have driven to the factory and had them fitted in that time. I used ATS Euromaster for my last tyre change and it took about an hour for 4 including all checks if I remember correctly.

    In my experience, Bridgestones seem to wear much faster than Yokohamas. Similar price point but more durable on my Mitsubishi.

    All tyres do if you don't use them, there is a lubricant in the rubber that is released when the tyre rolls along the road although all tires will crack after the years tick by.
