'Plant-based plastic' or 'bioplastic' is plastic made using non-fossil fuel derived raw materials.

This is what this bottle is made from:

Not worth the money. Picked one up with a meal deal from WHSmith for £4.50. It felt like the bottle was made from cheap plastic like that of a supermarket milk bottle. The worst part was the water tasted like it was tainted with plastic, like the same taste when you leave a disposable plastic bottle of water in the car on a hot summer day. I had half the bottle and had to bin it because it was that bad.

If you want a drink vessel that will keep your water cold not cool, cold, all day, undersoka ikea flask. Honestly! Get the larger one and it will be the best tenner you will have ever spent.

0.7l isn't a lot of water. I think a lot of people would drink that by mid morning.

I’d say if you notice holes in the bottle or other telltale signs like wet arms yes

All jokes aside, I purchased one of these on a hot summers day when I was out in a garden centre for just give it a try factor. I still use it every Wednesday for Football. Not bad purchase really.

This could go with my IKEA Rislampa wire lamps of environmentally-friendly unbleached paper.

Each to their own, I like them, I bought the pink and light blue one for the kids from Ibiza airport on our way home last week, daughter is gonna take hers to school, son uses his for a drink during the night, I’m purchasing this 1 for myself for work, thank you for taking the time to post this op, we like them

I’ve been using it for a few months now and can recommend it. Unlike others, it doesn’t leak

I'm confused what this is made of, their website mentions 'plant based plastics' , isn't that just plastic then?

These are £4 filled with water in stores like Coco Di Mama so this isn't amazing value at all.

It sound very good but this from their description made me skeptic
“Please deposit the bottle in the plastic recycling bins”
If it is made from sugar cane, should not be put in the compost?
    kawauso's avatar
It's presumably sugar cane plastic which is recycleable like normal oil-based plastics but not biodegradeable

All jokes aside the one i use is this, not really a deal as pricey more of a heads up really, it keeps my water cool all day onegreenbottle.com/pro…py/

It's a good product but this is not a good price. They are sold for this price, full of water at visitor attractions, e.g. Alnwick Gardens, and those places charge a premium
