About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Book your tickets now to a preview screening of Blackberry, on 4 October, two days before its official release. Every era has its visionaries and now it’s time to uncover the brilliance of the people who invented the world’s first smartphone, starring Jay Baruchel.
Reimagining the Canadian company’s humble yet chaotic rise to dominance, Blackberry is a darkly comedic tale of its tragic success story. See how they revolutionised the way we communicate, seemingly overnight, before swiftly plummeting into obscurity.

sorted by- How did you watch if not out?
- Never heard of Blackberry, only know Apple and Android. Was it a 90s thing? But you heard about the Mario game from the 90s looking at your avatar?
- Films about phones eh? Be Tetris next!both blackberry and tetris are reallygood movies..
I watched them a few months ago.. didnt know they not had an official uk release as yet - i enjoyed using blackberry phones. i miss the keypad and smart design (edited)The qwerty keypad was the best thing about it other than IM
- Yep, good film. I'm enjoying the current trend for big business grow and crash films and TV series, that are done with a tongue in cheek.Dumb Money is out this month from this genre. About Gamestop and stonks and all that.
- They will literally make a film about anything these days...Raspberry Pi next
- Sounds like a straight to dvd kind of movie.
- link ???
- Can't see it in app?
- Had the blackberry storm and then storm 2, as the first phones haptic, push in screen mechanism broke. The storm 2 mechanism broke too. Really liked the concept but that was the last blackberry I remember.Yep...at work, got issued with blackberry pulse, which was great at the time (with it's keypad buttons), and was before the iPhone, and think the Nokia 3510 was the typical phone of the day.
I'm not sure why they failed (assume film will tell), but guessing the ability to innovate at the same pace as Apple, etc, will probably be at the heart of it. - Oh, it's not even out yet? I was confused why my local cinema wasn't showing it despite it coming out months ago most other places. Bizarre.
- Oops heat for the deal:)
- I am waiting for the sequel : BBM blackberry messenger
- I had a PDA around the same time that I thought was great
- I had a Blackbery Curve and went to the US on a uni trip and all my friends (with Nokias and Motorolas etc) ran up £100s bills sending messages and calling home etc and I didn’t get one extra charge. I can only assume it was something BlackBerry did to the network and I basically had free calls and texts to my home country. I will never know how that happened. (edited)
- Really interesting story & Surprisingly funny
