Bought two a few months ago. Swiftly sold one on ebay after opening the first bag. Ruby chocolate is a solid 9/10, this flavour a 2/10 award would be generous. So synthetic.

A flavour best described as: chemical slop with a distant memory of apple

Sprinkle on some cinnamon and it tastes like something fresh from Starbucks this season

I bought 2 x 1kg to mix this with my morning porridge.
I also bought "Impact Whey Isolate - 2.5kg - Milk Tea" for £38.25 (this was reduced from £128.99) and is a great price for Whey Isolate.
Along with "MyPRO THE IN:EAA Eddie Hall Series - 20servings - Raspberry" for £9.62 (this was reduced from £34.99)

I used the BEAST discount code and then because I bought 2 items from the clearance section I got an additional 15% of these items, and free ship because it came to more than £45!!

So in short I got Just over £240 worth of supplements, after all of the discounts I paid just over £60 delivered to my door!!!

Now admittedly these are necessarily the flavours I would have chosen but a 75% discount makes it all the more palatable....

Those rrps are marked up heavily. So the discount isn’t really as big as it feels.

The reason this company does these deals is due to poor quality and people buy it once never again.

Good quality protein costs money now for many different reasons. (big mark ups is one of them)

1kg for this price is insane really you would expect to pay close to double for 500g.

How does the flavour have any ‘impact’ on the ‘quality’ of the protein? Surely it’s more likely they’re just selling off a flavour that didn’t sell very well?

Who cares what it tastes like, for this price you're getting something that will supplement your protein intake and not break the bank. I can't believe how people can afford to spend £25 a kilo on something just because it tastes nice. Its a supplement not a dinner date
  6. awesome_steve's avatar
It's really not that bad a taste, and it's protein after all. You're not offering it to guests at a house party.

    Exactly 💯

I just chug an go (edited)

Took a risk getting the 2.5kg when it was on offer a few months ago and really like it

The flavour is "tolerable" for me, but the price in unbeatable for protein!! Ordered enough for free shipping! When was the last time protein was available for £6.80/kg?? (edited)

How this flavour got beyond QC is beyond me

But not beyond me, and many other satisfied customers

Got this flavour last time. Its terrible, but for that price just buy it and down it.

Thanks! Finally managed to get some. Flavour is absolute fine by me. BARGAIN!

Shame you can't take out the flavourings and sweetners!

    Unflavoured ?
  13. Mark_Sproat's avatar
Nothing wrong with this flavour at all, ploughing through a 2.5kg bag at the minute and enjoying it.

I’m just finishing mine off at the mo, flavour is tolerable.
It’s protein and if you mix it with porridge or alike it’s fine.

Good price but echo others, the taste is not pleasant
  19. godster's avatar
Took the plunge as make a lot of overnight oats and porridge from this time of year onwards. Hoping it will up fine that way vs the nicer tasking protein I have in my standalone shakes.

I ordered 7 bags (enough for free delivery) and just got an email saying they've upgraded the shipping to next-day, happy with that!!
    xxxChrisUKxxx's avatar
I had Ruby Chocolate in my basket from the other day and it's let me purchase it, this flavour is arriving but the Ruby one is stuck on processing.

I got the next day upgrade too.

Is there a way to get myprotein related notifications on the app ? I always miss the sub £7/kg protein deals
    xxxChrisUKxxx's avatar
Not sure they come up on the MP app, best way is to get an alert through HUKD.

My Ruby Chocolate order came through today, must be someone's return!

I ordered this when the deal was live but it never arrived with the rest of my shipment. I've just had an email this morning saying my order has been cancelled
