I pop to Morrisons beforehand and get my son a bag of popcorn for £1 and a can of drink for about 75p...cinema food is a joke

It’s how they pay to keep the lights on and (hopefully these days) make a profit. They make very little on the films really.

This is the price it should be every day. Cineworld are a rip off when it comes to food and drink.

I agree, but concessions are where they make most of the money.

Still an absolute rip off. Just buy popcorn and drink from supermarket for a quarter of the price!

I just get a couple of cans of larger to take into the film and just cough when I open the cans.

does cineworld allow you to order through the app like odeon?
    musicals's avatar
Yes, but they've quietly reintroduced an extra booking fee for tickets. They claim it's not new, but previously it was included in the ticket price.

    Is Odeon the same?

£1 for large. Also if you have unlimited you get 25% off. I paid £3.90 for a large Pepsi and popcorn.

Shouldn't that have been £3.75 then

Cineworld now charge £2.20 to use a meerkat movies code and £2.50 for 3D glasses. They've become the Ryanair of cinemas.
    jco83's avatar
What??? They charge you for using a 2for1 Meercat code?? Is that a joke???
