IPhone 12 high Radiation

Looking at several news pages, it looks like France are banning the sales of the iPhone 12 after high levels found in that particular model, with Germany maybe to follow with the rest of Europe. I have an iPhone 12 Pro. Does anyone know if it Is just the 12?

Now it makes sense why i keep seeing teenagers walking around on loud speaker so everyone has to listen to their conversation, they're not annoying attention seekers after all, they have iphone 12 and are avoiding radiation sickness (edited)

Don't all the cool kids keep them about a metre from their head anyway?

The French are absolutely obsessed with radiation from phones. They have to clearly advertise the SAR rating alongside the phone in shops, have lower limits than most other countries, and when you buy a phone in France it will be plastered with stickers about how radiation is dangerous, you must use a headset wherever possible etc etc.

I have an iPhone 12 - And I am not even slightly concerned despite putting said phone up to my ear for long calls on a regular basis. If/when other countries actually join in and start recalling it then maybe I will consider getting worried and replacing it. But until then it's business as usual, as far as I am concerned.

As for your question about the 12 Pro. It has the same SAR Rating as the original and mini - and the modem and antenna assembly inside will presumably be the same across the range. So yes it will likely be affected if this does turn out to be anything of concern.

Your argument is a kin to the my granny drank half a litre of sherry & smoked 40 a day & & died at 90 argument.

Either it is a safe level or it is not. The fact you hold it to your phone to your ear regularly & for long periods but you are fine isn't really proof that it isn't dangerous.

What I find odd is it can be fixed with an update, so who monitors the updates for this on the various phones as updates are released.
