The money you save on flights you can put towards a meal. Trust me. It's very expensive. Great place but food prices will shock you.

You're right it is expensive , but can do on a budget , buy food from a supermarket and get a self catering apartment .. we were there for the scenery and not the cuisine of Iceland factor in a hire car as everything is very spread out. (edited)

Tip when travelling to Iceland check duty free for offers at Luton (or other UK airport). We got 4 bottles of wine to take with us for £20. Beer was about £9/500ml in Reykjavik bars but many have happy hours where price drops to around £5. If going after Black Friday check out Iceland tours offers , we saved around 30% on trips we did.

Wizz air always cancel flights. Especially very cheap ones I would think carefully.

They don't cancel flight they make profit

Never again had to take them to court for a refund for compensation they wouldn't even refund the flight nightmare company stay away from Wizz air

Voted worst airline In Europe (edited)

Wizz have proved themselves to be so unreliable I don't think I'd dare book them again. Any problem with your flights and you can forget customer service.

Wait until you try Vueling. Despite being a sub of BA, you get the customer service that even Ryan Air would be embarrassed to offer

14 days in Iceland is 11 days too long from everyone I heard thats been there, flight deals like this make no sense, literally nobody will book this deal! (edited)

I'd happily spend 14 days there if it wasn't so expensive but you raise a good point.
