Feels like a downgrade trading in a £100 phone with 90hz display for a £800 iPhone with 60hz display
    kane_th_gaming's avatar
Honestly just get the 13 pro max. Best phone I’ve ever owned

    I got an iphone 12 256
    Currys gives me £250 (200+50)
    Apple gives £230
    John Lewis gives £226.

Worth checking before going ahead as other models might be different results

Yeah, defo cross check whether the enhanced at Currys beats other sites, but if you only have a very old phone worth a fiver to trade in, then £50 is £50

I wouldn’t buy the cheapest memory stick from Curry’s diabolical customer service and even worse after care beware. (edited)

I switched from Android to iPhone when the 13 was released after buying the Note series for years and years - can’t imagine not having an iPhone now.

I'd wait if it were me. From previous deals, it's a lot easier done in store.
  9. mspychala's avatar
Would this work for iPhone that's not listed? Like 5s?
    chris182's avatar
Just tried with a 6S and it wasn’t accepted. The list has 7 and newer.
  10. pentaya's avatar
Which is better 15 or 14 pro?
    thedvdmonster's avatar
    14 pro.
  11. mspychala's avatar
So, you have 24 hours to use the gift card once it is issued. Can the gift card be used online to purchase an iPhone?
    BlackAdam's avatar
In store. They won’t let you leave without using it
  12. mxer450's avatar
Apple better set up a dedicated usb C repair division .. such a shame loosing lightning, I'm android always have been was tempted to move over but it'll have to be a 14 pro for me.. all my usb C's have failed.
    Haircut_100's avatar
What on earth are you doing to all your devices that the USB-C port on them has failed?

Good deal but worst customer service to get hold of over the phone and store won’t help.

Waiting for the iPhone 17. Will make this seem obsolete.
    kane_th_gaming's avatar
Then just wait for the iPhone 19 cause that will make the 17 feel obsolete

I wish curry's did the laptop bonus £100 or £150 trade in. Desperate need of one.
    XiaofengXiaofeng_Xiaofeng's avatar
You can literally get better deals on this site than pretty much anything at Curry's. Like that Lenovo Ideapad 5 Pro recently on here for £500
  19. Trogador's avatar
Worked brilliant for me in store today. Took all of 5 minutes to do check on my iPhone 13 and £400 given.

Straight towards their ID Mobile iPhone 15 Pro deal, 100GB data for £329 upfront and £30 a month. Covered my upfront and £70 back
    Hbvhh's avatar
Hey quick question? Did u get given a gift card or a bank transfer? Im looking to go in store and trade 2 phones but wondering if u got given currys gift card or bank transfer. Thank you
  20. amully9's avatar
How does the trade in work? Can I just get £50 voucher for an old phone and not purchase the new phone and buy something else instead?
  21. Y_G's avatar
I’ll be sticking to my red 14 Plus. The brightness boost means nothing to me since I always have it dim/warm anyway & only really use it indoors. Those new colours are trash! Lmaooo. Seems like their aiming it entirely at teenage girls this year with those pastel colours. (edited)

Does it matter how many gb the iphone 13 is? Mine is 512gb so would it still be £380?
    doppo666's avatar
Yes it does matter, Go on the website to check the prices is easiest way of finding out
  23. fooaddict123's avatar
was going to do this with a Pro 512gb earlier but they all went unavailable for pre-order whilst I was completing the trade-in =(

    Actually decent value

iPhone 13 Pro for £475, bought for £550 over year ago so only losing a little bit.

Shame the new model is 60hz, big dealbreaker.
    blizeH's avatar
Where did you buy that from? £550 would be a great deal now, let alone over a year ago
  26. Optimus2050's avatar
The only main thing change was the usb port, you could have bought last year phone, and you would see no main difference.
  27. MassiveAttack99's avatar
Thanks OP, managed to bag myself a Pro in Blue! £195 for a Pixel 6 Pro, God they really don't keep their value do they?

"Only one gift card can be used to subsidise the transaction. "

Anyone know if I can use a giftcard to pay for the remainder of the transaction?
  31. IamChris's avatar
Good for 0 value phones but Apple gives £275 for my wife's iphone 11 Pro max 256gb and currys gives £195 + £50
Edit: selling to 3rd party gives up to £330 (edited)
  32. foo_addict's avatar
Looks like all phones and models are in stock now. Makes this a good deal if you can trade in a phone and use discounted currys vouchers.
    15 pro 512gb being delivered tomorrow 🏻
  33. qprfanbideford's avatar
    Thanks for this OP

Yesterday I traded in a 10 year old windows phone for £1 plus the extra £50. New iphone 15 ordered for collection tomorrow. Total cost £748.

    Nice one

Was this online or in store? If it was online how easy was the process?
  34. djdave2929's avatar
I secured a brand new iPhone 13 Pro Max yesterday (insurance replacement for the seller's daughter) for £590. For me that is much better value than a 15.
