About this deal

Inspired by millarcat’s comprehensive Greggs thread, I thought I’d put one together for Krispy Kreme - we all know how pricey their doughnuts can be. In some cases, I've also given examples to illustrate their recent deal history.

At the time of submission, the ONLY limited-time promo they are running is the 20th Birthday 20 million smiles giveaway:
Free points on the Krispy Kreme app for select users + gift your code prize to be rewarded for your generosity e.g. gift 100 pts to get 150 points.
More info in the following post and in the pinned comment there - hotukdeals.com/dis…507 .

[13] Free Original Glazed (OG) for new app users (krispykreme.co.uk/rew…rds)

A long ongoing incentive for new sign-ups. Valid for 30 days from registration.

[12] Free choice of doughnut for your birthday month via Rewards app

Sign up for their loyalty scheme and make sure you’ve entered your birth date ahead of your birthday month. When the time comes, you’ll get an email notification that you’ve got a birthday doughnut to claim.

[11] Free OG for completing a 2-min feedback survey via receipt

Ask for a receipt when you make your purchase and you’ll be able to use the details on there to complete a short 2-min feedback survey. Once submitted, you’ll have a code for a free OG. On your next visit, hand in your receipt and scan the code from the submitted survey to claim your free OG, no additional purchase required.

Link to survey: mykkdd.com/gbr

[10] Bonus loyalty points events

Since they rolled out their revamped loyalty app, Krispy Kreme have had a couple of bonus smiles events. Keep an eye out for them, 2 of these so far have had no purchase required.

  • 20th Birthday - 20 million smiles giveaway via app - Free points on the Krispy Kreme app for select users + gift your prize code to be rewarded for your generosity e.g. gift 100 pts to get 150 points: hotukdeals.com/dis…507
  • Spend £15+ in store, online or via cabinets before 28 Aug for 100 bonus Smiles (enough for an OG)
  • World Happiness Day (March 2023) - win b/w 100 to 1000 points: hotukdeals.com/dis…192

[09] Free giveaways - dozens, 4-boxes, single doughnuts, single OGs

Look out for their giveaways, they’ve done quite a few in the past year or so and while some of their stores have had high demand, I’ve noticed that other stores have not seen much traffic for giveaways, so many more people could have got their hands on some free Krispy Kremes. Be sure to sign up to their loyalty app, as some of them are exclusive to members.

How many of these giveaways have you managed to claim?

[08] Loyalty app

Scan your loyalty app during purchase in-store to earn 10 points (aka ‘smiles’) per £1 spent, or rack up smiles by applying the loyalty codes on boxes bought in supermarkets. Smiles expire after 1 year. Use it or lose it!

There are also exclusive offers for loyalty members on the app, e.g. doughnut + hot drink combos.

At the time of submission, you can redeem your smiles for these rewards:

  • 100 smiles = OG
  • 150 smiles = Any doughnut
  • 150 smiles = Any hot drink
  • 500 smiles = Choose Your Own 4-pack
  • 700 smiles = Choose Your Own 6-pack
  • 800 smiles = OG Dozen
  • 1000 smiles = Sharer Dozen
  • 1000 smiles = Choose Your Own Dozen

[07] BOGOF during new flavour launches

When Krispy Kreme launch new flavours, they tend to offer ‘Buy a New Flavour Doughnut, Get ANY Flavour Doughnut Free’ - these are usually on Tuesdays.

[06] £12 dozens (inc. Sharer Dozen, CYO Dozen) on ‘Wondoughful Wednesdays’ - approx monthly

Usually on the first Wednesday of each month. You can claim any dozen (inc. Sharer, Choose Your Own) directly in-store, click and collect for no additional cost, or get it delivered (min delivery spend applies, delivery fee may apply).

Dunkin’ Donuts have been running a similar £12 dozen offer on the 12th of every month.

[05] OG included with ASDA meal deal (hotukdeals.com/dis…997 )

A few months ago, ASDA added the OG Krispy Kremes to their meal deal. Part of the 3 for 2 Food To Go Meal Deal, cheapest item free. Subject to availability where Krispy Kreme is stocked in Asda.

It’s possible to use this offer to get 3 Original Glazed for the price of 2.

[04] Heavily discounted boxes of unsold Krispy Kremes via Too Good To Go app

Select Krispy Kreme stores partner with Too Good To Go (TGTG), which aims to combat food waste by listing end-of-shelf-life food for collection at a heavily discounted price. The catch is that what you get is a mystery because it depends on what is left unsold at the end of the day. Perhaps you’ll get a haul, or perhaps very little. Perhaps you’ll get your favourites, perhaps you’ll get the ones you dislike.

More info and download the TGTG app from here: toogoodtogo.com/en-gb

[03] 10% discount for students / BLC / NHS

All you have to do is show valid ID in-store to claim. Can’t stack with other offers or rewards.

[02] 50% off Staff discount

A benefit of working for Krispy Kreme is that they offer employees a 50% staff discount. If you’re lucky, you’ll know someone who works there that could help you out…

[01] Cashback (e.g. Airtime Rewards, TCB, Quidco, your bank)

Lastly, more of a reminder. If you’re set on buying from Krispy Kreme, check your cashback app or bank cashback scheme to see if Krispy Kreme are listed there and be sure to opt-in if necessary before you make your purchase.

I've had some luck again with the surprise spin game. So I've got a few glazed doughnut codes up for grabs. But to make it a bit fairer you'll have to inbox me for some.

    Thank you as always!

These doughnuts are very high in calories. It's a momentous task to burn off the calories after just eating one.
    ecraigy's avatar
It’s a doughnut. It’s not going to be healthy!

What about if you already have Diabetes

Does the gifting of points bonus only work for those won from the spin? Or also for if i wanted to gift from my current points balance too?
    JZY's avatar
    Points won on spin only
  6. Tatic's avatar
I’m only 20 points away from 1000 and being able to get a free dozen. Anyone know how I can get 20points? Will buying a drink be enough? Thanks :-)

Play the Spin to Win game on the app if you haven't already.
Else, each £1 spent nets you 10 points, so spend £2 on anything in-store to get 20 points and make sure to scan your Rewards ID before the transaction. Prices will vary by store

Cold. Their doughnuts are getting smaller by the day & use less filling than they used to. Prefer to support locals who make huge doughnuts with plenty filling.

Or 5 lovely juicy doughnuts in Morrison's for 89p!
Who says money is tight yet buy KK?
    satyris's avatar
I don't get it, at there's not that much difference between a good fresh donut wherever it comes from. As long as it's got custard in it's all good. Had a £4 donut in london a few years back, it was alright.
  10. Ian_zzz2000's avatar
Couldn’t believe the price of these in Tesco yesterday. £2.85 each
    satyris's avatar
yeah that's a bit obscene. I remember when they were first introduced in a tesco near me 10 years ago I went a bit wild on them. Me and a mate used to bbq some steak and polish off a box of 12 between us. happy days
  11. gw3gon's avatar
Let me give you all a tip that costs nothing - don't eat this toxic waste.
  12. jammiejam2k69's avatar
Can get any 1 free doughnut 🍩 anytime I go in there, when u know! U know!

Box of diabetes - stay away peeps.

Thats why you don’t buy them every week, that and they are soo pricey.
  14. henrysquire's avatar
Cheers, in Manchester but returning back to my small city (doesn't have a KK store) today. Downloaded the app and got 700 points via the Smiles thing. Conveniently there was a KK store at Piccadilly so I now have a box of 6 to take back with me on the train
    Manish_N's avatar
Create another id and donate it to that id. Trust me, you will have more that 1600 points in total
  15. ramkmr's avatar
I have one near me still they cheat
they offer this for few in the morning then they say they have none left buy something else
    BlackHawk's avatar
What's the cheat code that they use?

Heat for effort , not a big fan of Krispy Kreme anymore . tim Hortons apple fritter deluxe won me over

We all know the REAL trick with Krispy Kremes, right?
    Manish_N's avatar
And what it exact is, ?
  18. BenderRodriguez's avatar
Unpopular opinion - they're not even good doughnuts, not worth the hassle.
    Hiptobesquare's avatar
Dunkin Donuts Boston Creme donuts are the best. 😁

When will the UK novelty wear off on these over priced clumps of sugary bread ? In the USA they now pay approximately £3 a box ie $5 so I've been told
    s10's avatar
A dozen of og is $8 there afaik

If you want jam doughnuts LIDL and Greggs are better and cheaper.

Fab post! How on earth did I miss this earlier!?

    Nice one
  23. TheBigShort's avatar
Voted Cold - better donuts are available, at cheaper prices, with less aggravation and misrepresentation, and better yet in smaller quantities. I won’t support Rip Off Merchants like KKKD. Curiously many use same machinery, bought in and set up by outside expertise.
  24. henddoya's avatar
    Thank you , I won 1600 smiles
  25. stephensims's avatar
What are we doing here. Why so hot. How do you get free points from 20000?
  26. Genghis47's avatar
Used to love KK, their current prices have taken all of the enjoyment and now it feels like the expensive way to get diabetes
    iamqwerty123's avatar
Everything is too expensive now. Even the mcdonald's saver menu. Don't buy any food or drink outside of a supermarket now
  27. Mooney70's avatar
Here's a load of glazed doughnut codes for Krispy Kreme. These are again from today's Three+ rewards app surprise spin game. For those of you who manage to grab some enjoy, but don't be too greedy.

Tempting thread. Whenever i've looked at a KK deal they have always been at actual KK shops but never att he instore outlets like in Tescos or kiosks in shopping centres so theres none near me.

Do any of these apply outside the actual KK stores?

Cabinets only when they do their bonus points offers e.g.

    - Last year 4x Smiles loyalty points before 13th November 2022 for World Kindness Day - just apply the box code on the app
    - Spend £15+ in store, online or via cabinets before 28 Aug for 100 bonus Smiles (enough for an OG) (edited)

Didn’t get any during World Cup. My local were gone pretty much instantly, I would be arriving on time or 5 mins late and families were walking away with 3-4 boxes so couldn’t even get a single box. (edited)
  36. Dealboy12's avatar
Are you able to redeem the 12 sharer box on the app plus free delivery? Seems unclear from my 5 minutes of research. I've basically got a free dozen but no Krispy Kreme store near me, so want them delivered (hopefully for free)
  37. IDY0121's avatar
😏 once experimented with these and it went wrong when I felt a little on the heavy side checked the weighing scale and ran to gym

We used to get these quite a lot, but over the past 12 months, the price of a pick your own dozen has risen around 50%.
