Home security advice please

Looking for recommendations on a camera based doorbell with remote access. Ideally I'd like one without a subscription or any hidden charges which is easy to setup. I'd like to add outdoor security cameras also.

Any advice, thoughts or recommendations welcome.

Thanks

Thanks for your help and advice everyone, settled for Eufy in the end and will be looking out for a deal on Eufy outdoor camera for the rear garden.

This implies typical disinterest in personal privacy,
which is why ICO needs to sharpen its teeth and grow greater reproductive organs to protect the average punter from themselves.

Eufy. I have all you want in use, good system, good picture, and NO subscription. Been in use for nearly 3yrs with indoor and outdoor camera's, door and window contacts. Remote access via app, used while in Thailand and other countries either via wifi or data. (edited)

Usual observation about Eufy products having reputation for previous privacy issues and associated colourful denials,
plus the UK distributor still (unbelievably in the circumstances) chooses to flout UK data protection obligations.
In reality: nobody is too concerned - including toothless ICO.

Ongoing freebie cloud storage (plus typically optional local on-cam storage) via devices using apps such as Blurams, Vicohome, LongPlus, Dzees, Anlife, NGTeco, Mubview, Aiwit, O-Kam and similar, typically levering Amazon AWS secure cloud storage.
Devices using those apps offer full range of wired/wireless connectivity and wiredpower/battery/solarcharged outdoor, indoor & doorbell products providing 1080p & greater 2k resolution.

Random example range of Howiray/Longplus-branded cams below fulfilled by Amazon all using interchangeable apps branded Vicohome, LongPlus, Dzees, Anlife, etc (choose one multi-cam app for all the different cam types) plus most have Amazon Alexa / Google Home integration options:

currently £31.99 delivered (via 20% discount tickbox) for battery or wire-powered 2k hi-res doorbell with indoor chime, tilt up/down left/right bracket, and believe the Amazon-shifted items are supplied complete with 32GB storage card to compliment the ongoing rolling free cloud storage:

    indoor pan+tilt+zoom hovering around £20:

£29.99 external battery-powered camera, colour nightvision/spotlight, siren, 2-way audio, etc:
    B09ZPHRR5S

external battery-powered camera including solar charge panel, typically hovering between £40-high£40s
    B09VXRZKHW

external remote pan+tilt+zoom battery-powered including solar charge panel, 2k res, hovering between £50-high£50s
    B09VXSGRRJ

Alternative range using Mubview app provides similar range of cams fulfilled Amazon but slightly more cost.
Mubview free cloud storage is rolling 7 days (not one-off 7 days), meaning the user and/or shared users can review the preceding 7 days' events stored in cloud, plus obvsly longer if optionally also using on-cam microSD storage.
Recent example happy punter using both Mubview doorbell and Mubview external solar-charged PTZ cam

All above apps also have option of paid sub providing essential features such as AI differentiation between cars and cats, and to inform you of boxes self-depositing themselves on your doorstep.
    Hilarious.
