    A question please for and all other oracle's on HUKD.

    I need to get 3 contract phones for the wife and 2 daughter's.

    I'm after 2 IOS (maybe 13 or 14's) and an android (Pixel 8, S23, similar).

    Historically what sort of deals do we get on BF? I've never been in the market at this time so haven't payed much attention previously.

    As they are for Xmas I'm in no rush now if we think there will be better deals (however I keep getting tempted by the posts on here).

    You might get sim free / PAYG deals during BF / Closer to Christmas. Issues with buying a 24m contract device is the price rise that can happen in April (it will be twice as it's a 24 month contract). So it would be something to bear in mind.

    Pixel 8 / S23 have chances than the Apple devices tbh..

    Anyone know if you are allowed to buy yourself out of the contract early thus avoiding the price rises? I’d buy it then buy myself out after a couple of months if it were allowed penalty free

    Interested in this as well. A Google link tells me you can and you also get 2% off. Also I assume the mid contract price rise isn't taken into account so a bit more of a saving on top. Not sure if it's out of date though, guess it's best to call and check.

    Decent. About £100 less than the deals at launch with the £200 buds (that tbf are worth £100 if sold new/second hand) I'd say this is the best deal since those launch deals / en par. (edited)

    Bought a watch 2 off eBay and saved a couple of hundred and now this amazing deal on the phone.

Guess they need to save money after their share price tanked note to google execs, stop canceling awesome products just because, and give us free access to google ecosystem if we buy your products, Blackberry and Altavista says hello

    It's not about saving money it's about most people having several existing chargers lying around their house.

    I don't want more USB c plug chargers having had several phones with USB c.

    I hate the front fingerprint sensor that never seems to work for me on pixel 6. It has sat unused on my desk for months whilst I continue to use 4a 5g as it just works..
    Can't believe they still use that awful tech on pixel 8

    I've had the pixel 8 for 2 weeks almost. The fingerprint scanner works every single time. I had the pixel 7 for a month earlier this year and the scanner never worked there so it's completely fixed.

    Pixel 8 and free buds from Google was a winner for me. They offered £360 for my wife's iPhone mini 12 (which she got the full amount for), I had £80 Google store credit and I sold the buds for £100 on eBay during an 80% off weekend.
    Pixel 8 cost me £150. Couldn't say no really.

    I assume it is one SIM and one esim?

    in which case do affordable mobiles do esim for this contract as other network I have to use for work, my work won't supply esim yet even though on a personal contract the same supplier does. I guess it be all phones still have a physical SIM slot so work either assume people to carry 2 phones or expect you to do the running around getting an esim for personal use to save them admin lol (edited)
