So I booked delivery for this Friday. Has anyone got experience of trading in? Does the same company who deliver the TV just take away the old TV? No packaging or anything?

I had one delivered other day, they just take the TV away, I even kept my one connect box and cable to sell.

Yes - I ordered the 88C as I couldn’t add the 85C. Slightly more expensive as would only accept the 15% code and not the 20. Still a great final price at £670 ish + TCB cash back

That's an OLED so it depends on your viewing habits. There's not a simple answer and it's too big a topic for this comment section

I have an old 55" Furrion TV where one of the LED lights in the top right corner is kaput. The TV still works as normal. That shouldn't be an issue for a trade in, right?

Also, do I need to pay the full price at checkout and then the difference gets cashbacked at a later date or does it discount automatically there and then?
    Wilky43's avatar

TV will be fine for trade in and discount is took off when added to basket

Awesome deal. I went for the 65" to replace a 5 year old Samsung 65MU8000. After using the 15% off code and Quidco of 8%, it brought the total cost to around £859 after discounts/cashback. Added on Samsung 0% Finance over 36 months: £23 a month. That'll do nicely Mr Switch and a free £200 monitor thrown in to boot. Not half bad. (edited)

You already had a 65 inch quality TV for free. Now you spent almost 900 quids for a slightly better screen and a 200ish monitor....well you should know that anyway...

Hmm, do I keep the 55" Frame and sound bar that arrived today (potentially costing £330) or return it and get this ?

Both would seem a little extreme.

    This or the QN90B
    C0mm0d0re_K1d's avatar
    C0mm0d0re_K1d
    Very difficult to say really.

The the qn90b is a VA panel, and was the flagship model of 2022. The qn80 is just below it, in the range and is ips.

However this years C models are much better than last years (more dimming zones and less blooming etc). So this qn85c could be as good or better than last year's qn90b or not?

This year's qn90c is definitely superior to last year's qn90b. I've seen them both in person. Haven't looked at the 80 series in person.
