Available in Lidl NI from Thursday 1st February. Absolutely insane price for this Parkside Performance 20V 8ah Smart Battery. I have two of these, and they are excellent. It has bluetooth for connection/control on the Parkside app.

Parkside Performance tools are excellent and can compete with, or in some cases, outperform the big names.

    Definitely agree.
    I have the whole ecosystem of parkside tools and would 100% recommend for higher than average DIYers.
    Waiting for the tyre inflater as they don't seem to do a cordless one as often as a bloody wallchaser.

    8Ah! How does that compare in size and weight to the 4Ah pack? Is it double or is this better technology?  What benefit does BT bring?

    I'd imagine the height will be double (double stacked for capacity) so double runtime but same form factor. Obviously heavier, the bt I believe after a quick search is to show you the state of the cells, charging and temperature and also something to do with mode of power delivery such as a performance mode
