I am very interested in this offer but was hesitant about the website.
How good is Very, and how likely will we meet a problem?
Checking the reviews, there seems to be a big issue with the delivery/missing parcels that aren't appropriately solved.
    Any ideas?

I ordered a laptop from very as advertised on here as did many. Of the people who commented a few had the laptop "stolen" in the post including me. I did eventually get a replacement after I had to wait for a couple of weeks to claim my money back, it was a whole on going process of phoning them and speaking with the managers almost daily, I wouldn't use them again (edited)

I am in lookout for gaming laptop too, and checking all available options. I seem lean toward lenovo as have good experience with brand. From those three possibly one with 3050Ti, but also have option for second hand Lenovo Legion with ryzen 5700 and gf 3070, screen 300 nits. would this second hand legion be best option in long term (also still with warranty)?

Does anyone know if -20% off for first order works?
    Safster's avatar
So I'm pretty sure it does but I messed up the process and didn't add the 'welcome' code when I ordered so it tried to take the full amount (with the -10% discount listed here).

Cancelled but now it no longer accepts the -10% discount or the -20% first order discount (edited)

How are the thermals on these compared to an i7 laptop?
    Alex_H's avatar
These AMD CPUs will run cooler than the recent intel i7 CPUs. But the biggest difference will be how good the extract laptop your looking at is at cooling.

I've got the crossover with the 5800h and 3070 which I bought as my first gaming laptop but in 17" the a17 and I hope this one is upgraded because mine came with an 80w GPU and the display was really terrible colour coverage, I'm lucky enough to have upgraded too many times till I got what should satisfy everything I want yesterday, been through Asus, gigabyte Acer 3070ti and Lenovo 4090 and eventually my 18" yesterday and within reason the display is the most important even if you have a powerhouse laptop, please research the display specs because mine had literally the worst display by far of any laptop in the last few years

Is this any good then? Been thinking about a gaming laptop for a while as my son likes playing games on my current work laptop which struggles with most games.

Will it work with Meta Quest? Read some RTX 3series didn't support Meta quest.

Always stuck with MSI laptops but this prices seems decent. Is this a good laptop? Will it last a few years?

    Thank you. (edited)
