Don’t bother, awful series.
I love the games and expect the offset of a series not being as good, but this was bad and felt ‘series for series sake’

The first 2 episodes are free, obviously, in the hope of gaining subscribers. I think rather than give personal opinions, give it a watch and make your own. After all, it's free.

I'm watching it and giving it a chance. Yeah it's got its short comings but so what. There's a lot worse around. I'm saying this as someone who has never played the game, only aware of its presence, so maybe I have no expectation and accept I'm possibly being led up a blind alley.
And it's free watching for a month with the code knocking about somewhere. (edited)

I can't believe I managed to drag myself through the entire first series. Morbid curiousity kept me going more than the storyline!

Watched the 1st series and that wasn't brilliant but I got through it. Unsure about investing in the new series though

It's better than the first series of halo 10 years ago and with this version first seasons starts action packed and definitely not b standards but goes to art house dreamy later on, just watched the first episode of this and it's action packed and opening out to a hopefully solid storyline, production is high quality

I guess it's not a bad show - I have watched a lot worse. Yes Master Chief takes his helmet off way too early, however I can understand the need for a TV show to have a face rather than a helmet clad person play the role.
Although Deadpool managed to get away with it (thankfully Dredd never removed his helmet, though it didn't completely cover his face - just a shame we never got a TV show or another movie)

its more plot driven now, the first season was a random sequence of cool scenes and pretty pictures.
not sure if its better, but then i quite like the image fest of series 1 that you can fit the way you want. (edited)

I thought Series 1 was pretty good to be honest. Exceeded my low expectations.

Having watched season 1 as well, I think the second one is better. But difficult to follow if you haven't seen the first one.

IMHO it was good enough to want you finish the whole series, seen better but not the worst series
