not to be given to small children as they are a massive choke risk
    tommyknocker1982's avatar
Good advice - the small children can just watch me eat them.

Only 5% cheaper than buying the 308g bags from Tesco. So not exactly a bargain
    Giwin's avatar
Indeed, I'm struggling to see the big value here

    What about dessert????

52278721_1.jpgNot much of a deal. 8 mini bags are £3.75 at Asda equivalent to £12.20 a kilo. Think I'd rather pay the slight extra for the individual bags for freshness. (edited)
    WolvertonPaul's avatar
Do you think they will losemuch freshness in ten minutes?

    100g for £1 is when I buy.
    rrr99gp's avatar
    Good luck with that pre-Easter.
  6. MrKrabs's avatar
My gauge of whether cadburys is a great deal is £1/100g, likewise with galaxy.

    Lindt £1.20/100g

I'll wait till week after Easter.
    MattC76's avatar
I remember not that long ago was when 70p/100g was my target “value” price 😔

    £10.62 on S&S thanks OP
    Disney1987's avatar
    Lucky! I couldn’t get it underneath £11.25
  8. J_Orr's avatar
Get the Aldi version, so much cheaper and just as good!
    bobbyh89's avatar
I have to disagree. Whilst I do love a lot of Aldi stuff, you just can't beat the proper mini eggs. Similar with Aldi cereal which I also don't like compared to the branded stuff.

Can you take out a subscription at the lower price then just cancel it? :/
    Lovediscount's avatar
Yes you can cancel any time
  10. AliceA1's avatar
    Same price in Waitrose
  11. jimyu2's avatar
Morrison do 308g for £3.75 which is cheaper (ingnoring S&S) plus they come in small bags for portion controll!!
  12. gabesdad's avatar
I was lucky enough to get 2 x 1kg bags from WHSmith online when they were £10 per bag a couple of weeks ago, plus some cashback.

This one would be £10.62 with 10% S&S discount, and the extra 5% off too, so close to what I've already got already. (edited)
  13. rigby44's avatar
    Same price as waitrose online?

Not sure how this has been voted hot? (edited)
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
And actually cheaper per kilo if you buy the 308g mini bags for £3.75 in Asda/Morrisons (ignoring S&S).
  14. futura's avatar
Is this really a deal? Equivalent to £2.50 for 200g which is the price most supermarkets sell confectionery for.

Wasn't that long ago that the Cadbury outlet shops were doing 10kg boxes of these after Easter for £15.
    DontRun's avatar
Really?? I got a 9kg box for £10 from the Cadbury's Outlet at Cheshire Oaks years ago (would have been around 2010).

I always go in the Cadburys outlets every time I pass one in the hope of seeing them again... but I'm always disappointed (they just usually have bags of mini eggs for the same price you can buy them in the shops)

I might try my luck just after Easter though now you've rekindled my hope of finding some!

To be honest, last time we got some I remember giving loads away as there were just too many to eat

£1.25 per 100g of Cadbury chocolate is terrible value!

The Wispa pieces that Farmfoods had not long ago at 99p for 500g was an insane deal, they are currently selling 72g of Cadbury Buttons for 49p which is better than this at 68p per 100g. (edited)
    robinkurosaki's avatar
We all know, mini eggs taste different to both of what you have said.
  16. Womble65's avatar
I'd get some but I can't be trusted not to sit and eat them all in one go
    Idntkno's avatar
Exact reason I’m not going to buy em
  17. colliwag's avatar
    Thanks OP ordered!
Has anyone tried the mini eggs bar? Not sure if it’s new for this year but first time I’ve had it and it’s excellent. £3.99 at aldi and £4 at Tesco (Clubcard) for 360g bar.
    Daniel.Hebberd's avatar
Tried some from my mate and only thing I can say is they taste good but it’s more like smarties are inside the chocolate as opposed to mini-eggs
  18. jimlad21's avatar
Dangerous purchase for me. I would be be trusted and the lot would be gone in 2 days
    amygreen79677's avatar
A lot would be gone in 2 days? - They'd all be gone in 2 hours for me, heck, 20 minutes probably. I am so weak.

"Don't eat all the chocolate at once!"
    - "Okay I won't."
"What - Where's all the chocolate gone? - I told you not to eat it all at once."
    - "I didn't. I ate it in hand-fulls. Wasn't easy but I did it."
"Just because we have chocolate in the house doesn't mean you have to eat it all immediately. It's not a challenge."
    - "Yes it is."

How has this got 800+ heat unless you can't be bothered to open smaller bags
    DaRockwilder1's avatar
Chocolat gets automatic heat from me
  20. backyard's avatar
Can't get excited at this price, look at it per 100g. Terrible value.
  21. Disney1987's avatar
There needs to be a double heat button for stuff like this.
    backyard's avatar
And for those that understand maths a triple negative button
  22. amygreen79677's avatar
My doctor recently told me I'm pre-diabetic, should I get these?

1 bag won't kill me.... will it?
    DaRockwilder1's avatar
I am in the same boat, ordered 4 packs
  23. ELNIN09's avatar
I got a couple of bags last week just to fill this thing

Whoever said the 2009 market crash was a bad thing?! 😡 (edited)
  25. azza452's avatar
Someone counted roughly 105 in 1 of those.

So roughly 12p per mini egg, doesn't sound that good especially when you eat 3 at a time
    Jammos's avatar
Serving size is apparently 8 eggs at 25g, so that's 320 eggs in 1kg. I think whoever was counting was doing exactly that, eating 3 at a time and only counting once!
  26. Speculator's avatar
cheaper per kg (£12.18) without S&S but want in separate mini bags.

And that deal currently 25 degrees of frost?
    No logic to this site.

My friend used to have one of those old school gas fires when we were teens. We’d sit there lining mini eggs up, the chocolate inside would melt but the shells wouldn’t… oh good lawd, for some reason I’ve never been able to enjoy them the same way and I’m 37 now Spoilt myself!! I’m now trying to figure out if laying them on my radiator on some kitchen towel would have the same effect (edited)
    cainer1's avatar
Try microwaving them for a short amount of time,
start with 10 seconds and increase as needed to get the desired effect
  29. jona77's avatar
