I used to favour Quidco, but 50/50 whether you get the cashback from them. Found that Topcashback are more reliable with paying out cashback these days. They both use the same retailers so Quidco can't blame it on the retailers declining cashback, meaning they can't pass it along.

Also Topcashback seem to spend more resources fighting to get you untracked or declined cashback. Over several years I earned over £4k in cashback with Quidco, but they have noticeably declined in reliability of paying out, in the past few years so I now avoid them. This is just my opinion from experience of using both cashback sites over many years. Surprised Quidco haven't gone under yet or been bought out by Topcashback. (edited)

Got my parents signed up to topcashback, most of their things did not track , even though we used the same laptop. took many many months to finally get that friends and family signup bonus. I had to make a list of everything so we could check. One thing got put on ice as well.

I remember why I favoured Quidco many years ago, as when I signed up to topcashback , my stuff didn't track as well. I assumed they were keeping it for themselves

I've never had any issues with Quidco cashback or bonuses tracking (unless I knew I was chancing it). Not saying there aren't any, but personally I've never experienced one and been a member since 2015.

    My tips would be:

    - Always accept cookies on the retailer website. Disable any adblockers or privacy tools.

    - If you login at the retailer, exit out and go through Quidco again to make sure it's tracking you.

    - Never use any promo codes unless they're listed on Quidco (although I've chanced it a few times got away with it).

    - Always make sure the most recent visit to the retailer is via Quidco.

    - If you're using it regularly do the "Premium" account thing. You lose a bit of cashback but it usually tracks a lot faster.

    - Make sure you opt into bonuses before you visit the retailer - or close all tabs, opt in, search for the retailer and then go through the Quidco link again.

    Hopefully that helps someone.

Not one to join in the with the Quidco bashing, but had two of these bonuses rejected from the Black Friday purchases.

Both tracked correctly, both had £10 bonuses attached correctly to them, one had a higher cashback guarantee claim on it as well. No discount codes used, as far as I was aware no T&C's broken.

Both rejected by the merchants for an undisclosed reason with no chance of comeback or appeal. For balance, I did have two other similar bonus transactions around the same time track and pay out OK.

Only use Quidco occasionally and would say have issues with 50% of transactions. Use TCB most and the only issues I've had have been where I've fully expected a rejection (like using a discount code).

Sorry Quidco, but your reputation for stuff like this seems to be growing.....
    Supergolo's avatar
what were the merchants who rejected?

I have no beef with quidco, but TCB's cashback offers do seem to be less targeted, and therefore available to more people, and they're also easier to spend...especially on vouchers.
    Willy_Wonka's avatar
This is £5 & Topcashback is mostly £2

    Heat. Thank you.
    Ornatas's avatar
It's heat if you get the cashback. The last two deals with this deal have failed for me.
  7. gamer21's avatar
5 years using TCB with nary an issue. Last 3 quidco purchases, two rejected. No thanks.
  8. chudeeras's avatar
Also pay attention to the tracking date with Quidco.
I have had a few offers that have tracked on the wrong day, meaning they were not linked/associated to/with the bonuses, and because i was unaware of this until it was too late i was unable to claim.
  9. zombrex's avatar
Now we know how they make their millions probably keeping a good fare amount and saying its been declined, pull you in with bonuses then decline them i was expecting £20 cashback from boots alone as they had 20% cashback running... pfft i'm not holding out much hope for Asda paying out either

All your picture tells us is that you have issues with tracking.

Agree with most of the negative comments on Quidco - definitely gone downhill and the odd time I use them the cashback rarely tracks.

That's said, over the past 6 months or so I've been having issues with about 10% of TCB transactions not tracking. When I lodge an untracked claim, it's nearly always declined now. They used to be great at following these up in the very rare occurrence a claim didn't track or for the wrong amount.

Waste of time - TopCashback is better

So now we will get a wave of argos lego Quidco bonus + Lego10 discount code stacking posts... YAY!!!

Also a negative vote for Quidco. Recently had cashback & bonus rejected due to returning part of the order, apparently this is in their t&cs for any part return. I’d spent around £70 & returned £5 of it.
    Begize's avatar
Same on TCB to be fair. Was stung once returning a £15 t shirt which was part of a £200 plus order and losing about £25 cash back. (edited)

Opted in, trying for the Lego Concorde with Argos...hopefully they'll accept the 10% off too as it's showing on their site
  17. rapid111111's avatar
So if there's something for £25 that should be fine or does one need to account for VAT when tracking?
    bozo007's avatar
Bonus is on total amount, regular cashback is on the pre VAT price.

Typically the product I was looking at is now out of stock today.

Never had a problem with Quidco- all my boosts have paid out including £50,£20,£10 ones

I have no problems with quidco, make sure adblock is disabled and clear cookies and accept after.

The deal was limited to the number of people accepting. It look like they have reached the limit.

EDIT: I just did it on a new account so try with a different browser (edited)

2 questions, first they always say first 10,000 opt inns how do you know you made the cut? And second does eBay count towards these bonuses?
    zombrex's avatar
because the ability to opt-in disappears
  23. MitoG's avatar
Will you get cashback if you pay using vouchers (Perks through work)?
    Maaark's avatar
Hope you already opted in. I have read in a recent previous offer that Argos tracked when using vouchers.
