More suited for BBQ'ing rather than lo&slo with this charcoal due to the size of the pieces, but a good charcoal and burns hot in my experience

Get your steaks ready and let the smell of wood embrace the garden as your barbecue heats up. Made from beech, hornbeam, birch, and oak woods, Weber Charcoal lights fast, burns hot and imparts a distinct, delicious flavour to all the food you barbecue. It provides you with full glow within 15 minutes and is thus ideal for short barbecues

I don't know everyone else's experience with the Weber lumpwood. I got 7 of them on offer. All came like bark chips. Absolutely useless. Complained to Weber who reluctantly replaced the bags only to find the new stuff exactly the same

Same here. Had a few bags and most of it is just shavings that burn out in no time. Absolutely crap.

Interesting, pieces are too small and therefore burn too quickly for a low and slow cook?

Love a good Lumpwood deal but think I’ll sit this out. Heath through.

The crap quality of the lumpwood is great for Ooni ovens as fuel -small enough with some lumps for the oven (so not utterly useless)

No stock at all. Damn. Any other charcoal offers?
