Obviously there is nothing like buying at home but has anyone spotted a bargain at substantially reduced price at AliExpress for the same?

Probably won't get much cheaper than this even from China.

It will be dark grey, they lie, I bought night black F3 5g 870 snappy it was grey like my redmi when clearly image they used to sell it to me was a lovely deep black and they fobbed me off with for illustration purposes only. Adverts, adverts and more adverts. Strange options and blocking of accessing features for screen res expect lots of annoying things (edited)

I have this specific version of the phone and I can assure you it's black. As for the adverts, a 1-minute google search would have saved you all the trouble.

Im still using an F3 if I needed a phone and didn't need a custom ROM or some types of emulators I would go with the X6pro over the F5pro.

Im probably going to wait to see how the F6 performs, I hope it's a K70 pro (8 gen 3) and will probably just buy the redmi K70 pro version over the poco.

I was not impressed with the F5 pro over the F3 for the cost and kept mine,

of the faults on this phone, if you need a SD8+ with a 2k screen in the UK with 2year local warrantee it's good but using the 2k screen eats the battery, the speakers are awfull, and the chip is throttled maybe due to poor cooling.

If you don't need an SD chip the X6pro is a K70 with a dimensity 8300 max and a 5000mha battery, the screen is 1.5k instead of the F5 pros 2k but it seems to run quite well the chip is amazing especially for gaming it scores 98 - 100 on tests and the 8300 beats the SD8+ on alot.
Also the ram is faster and so is the storage.

    The price in CN for a 12/512 K60 is about 2200rmb. (£240)
K70E (X6pro with a bigger battery and faster charging) is about 2000rmb

Also one or both of the phone that will probably be the F6 will be the K70 (SD8 gen 2) or K70 pro (gen 3)
    3700 for the 16/512 and 4300 for the 24/1TB
So £405 to £470, shipping is under 10 maybe around 5.
Im sure they have deals so could get it for less and in time im sure Ali sellers will sell them.

The CN rom in english is fine but if it's got an SD chip and a poco or global version the EU rom is fine and safe to use for daily stuff.

In Ali express they make more and this sale the X6pro 12 or 16/512 was under 250 with coupons and such in the last sale.

The F3 8/256 for £182 with a free wireless mouse or earbuds (worth about 20) was the best deal I have seen with CN phones in the UK as in it was 1999rmb (230/240) in China for the K40 8/256, no idea if too much stock but crazy the UK had it for the lowest price.

I'd never trust the X series again, after what happened with the X3/pro phones. I had one and I was lucky enough to have read all the posts about it and had the time to migrate to the F5 pro before the phone could die on me.

If you're going for a Poco, go for the F series.

Good phone but battery drains quick

How quick with normal moderate (non-addictive use)?

Also, how long to recharge while having a break/or doing chores/at work etc?

I bought this phone by random chance seeing that it was an offer in the past. Probably one of the best phones I have owned. The only thing which I can think of which would improve the overall experience is if it had better camera quality. I know the F6 model is due to be released soon, so hoping there is an improved camera.

    Is the camera that bad?

Still using my POCO F2 Pro since 2022 and want a F5 rather than a F5 Pro. No more on-screen biometric please
    Shonk's avatar
    why?

the onscreen fingerprint reader works great on the f2 pro
