Experience a new kind of vision with HUAWEI MateBook D 15. The IPS 15.6-inch HUAWEI full view display and 16:9 aspect ratio stretches the limits of what you can see, while the Full-HD 1920 x 1080 resolution lets every image burst with detail and clarity.

Open up and see more. HUAWEI MateBook D 15 is designed to relieve eye strain and vision fatigue, with TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker Free Certification. Keep your eyes fresh and sharp at every moment.

Super sleek - Weighing just a bit over 1.56kg, you'll barely notice the MateBook D 15 in your bag. It's also super thin, at just 16.9mm so you can carry it easily between meetings or lectures. Plus, it has USB-C charging, so you can use the same charger as your phone.

Is this any good??? Any advise

Positives are that they are well built, they look visually quite impressive (better than many £600 laptops i'd say) and i really like the keyboard & key travel when typing, though you might find differently.
The downsides are the very odd webcam-in-the-keyboard, which even Huawei have changed in other laptops now, the soldered RAM (8GB means you'll be ok-ish in light workloads today, but in 3 years time this will not be fast) the the fairly old-ish CPU.
This is a nice-looking, nice feeling but slow-ish laptop (compared to its peers).
I think this still has a place, but i'm not convinced that £399 is a bargain. I'd say it was a fair price.

Great laptop until the sound went on the speakers. Was told it was a fault with this model

I bought this laptop for work purposes in 2022 and paid less than this, it was the ryzen 5 model though. I ended up upgrading from it as it literally updates daily and was too disruptive with work.
