Just wondering, why are these better than the standard dimmer switch?

    Are they worth the upgrade?

There are ways to get more flexibility from standard switches using 3rd party apps, but fresh out the box this gives so much more than the standard. 4 buttons plus a rotating dimmer dial. E. G. In my kitchen diner, I have 1 button for the kitchen only lights, one for thr pendant over the table, one for dining area Dow lights, and one for the total "zone" of all 3 so I can flick through scenes I made called "eating dinner" "having drinks" "all on" etc. Excellent product

Not sure why you need this. I just control mine via alexa

    Because plenty of people:

    1. Don’t want to use a voice assistant
    2. Want a more traditional physical control (especially useful for guests)
    3. Don’t want to rely on the cloud as their main way of operating their lights.

No click and collect or in store sadly makes it more like £26 unless you want something else.

No suggestion that this is on promotion or clearance from Homebase, pricing error that's gone unnoticed?

Ordered 2 even though I have a house full of the normal V2 dimmer switches and I end up using Alexa more anyway
    TheOak's avatar
Haha same, except I prefer v1s so buy them over v2s

    Great price. Very well made

These are great for multi gang switch needs

if you have a room like a kitchen with different zones. For instance I have a kitchen diner, under counter lights and lights above the counter. With this I can set each zone and then dim each zone or turn them all off or on at once. The single switches can’t do that.

I also have another one at the bottom of the stairs to do both the hallway and the landing.

    Great price (edited)

You can get better control of the Philips Hue switches by using the Hue Essentials app.
