very old slow tech with more modern AC adapters for very little extra cost, sorry but cold from me.

Yeah, even though it's not much faster, getting this one which supports AC and the 5GHz band is probably better: amazon.co.uk/dp/…PTL it's even a bit cheaper (£5.99)

Do not buy this, it’s single band 2.4Ghz, if you want a cheap adapter at least make sure it’s dual band 5Ghz

I got this for an old pc and it worked fine.

Be careful with this, its cheap but its also rubbish. I had one and had nothing but trouble. Would often loose connection and sometimes machine wouldn't even detect it plugged in. Reinstalled drivers, updated MB bios, chipset etc but gave up with it in the end.

Niche but these are compatible with QNAP NAS so you can plug it in and config only takes a few mins.

Anyone recommend a wifi6 adapter (which I guess this isn't). Ever since we moved BB companies by wife's laptop is having a problem with the new router.

May as well pay £3 more and get a 1300Mbps one amazon.co.uk/Blu…S3M

I got one - only annoying thing is a ridiculously bright blue led that flashes all the time when in use. You can't even cover it up because it's inside, and comes out of vents on either side. In the end I taped up the vents, so maybe it'll overheat and burn out sometime? (edited)
