At first sight it looks like a £30 Timex! Might prevent someone stealing it.52397329-Zg6O7.jpg

Firstly thats a £160 Timex Q and not a £30 Timex. Nice watch.

Secondly, the styles are completely different. The Timex has an integrated bracelet case. It has a pepsi bezel. It has a day and date. It has a blue dial. It is quartz. The Tudor shares none of those. But I suppose they are both round. (edited)

Good price for new, nearly new closer to 2k, wasn’t long ago these were on a waiting list, how the watch market has changed
    MikeyS's avatar
These have never been a waitlist watch, you sure you're not thinking about the regular steel Harrods version?

Or even better off with a Patek, Lange, Voutilainen or Roger W Smith.
    Your point is?

For a lot of people - Dates spoil the symmetry and look of watches. I wouldn’t buy a watch with one.

Came here for the “Better off with a Rolex” comments and wasn’t disappointed Rolex’s are great but not everyone wants to spend over 5k for an OP, nor do people want to wait.

Tudors are great and you feel slightly less nervous wearing them in central London these days.

As people have quite rightly mentioned you can pick these up second hand closer to 2k (my friend is currently selling his) however not everyone wants second hand and this is a good price for a new one.

For those that don’t know, Tudor is a budget version of a Rolex and they made it for people who couldn’t afford a Rolex. Still a nice watch but just so you know.

Better off buying a Bel Canto from Christopher Ward. Infinitely more attractive proposition.

Completely different looking watches but ok

I love my BB58, and think it's better than the hyped 54. But this is the silver case version that tarnishes - buyer beware.
  15. MattNorfolk's avatar
Lovely. May have bought this a few months ago, but went with the standard BB58 in the end I like the case back on the 925 though. (edited)

Great price, although looks like it is a misprice. It should be £4000.

Bit risky wearing an expensive watch these days with them being a number one target for organised gangs - you know the ones I mean. (edited)

Tudor is the same company as Rolex. Same quality and substantially less fakes in circulation.
