Stuck between this and the Poco X6 for £260. Extra £30 for essentially the exact same phone with a slightly better camera.

My mi 9 lite is still going after 4 years, I fancied a change so I'm looking at this on the redmi 13 5g mentioned in the deal, very nice phone and a worthwhile upgrade (edited)

I've been reading about issues with the ROM ie Chinese vs Global ROM.
Complaints about being unable to use banking apps etc.
Not OTA updates on the Global, Chinese one full of Chinese apps/bloatware etc.
This is giving me concern.
I'm trying to decide between buying from Xiaomi UK or Ebay UK but seller in China offering both Chinese and Global. The eBay seller has the colour I want and GBP62 cheaper.
Xiaomi UK has no info about ROM.

get a Chinese friend and ask them to help you ship one from China for extra 20 quid or something. there are online couriers who does storage and package and shipping from China and still works out cheaper than buying in UK, also guarantees its genuine. lots of scams on ebay afterall.
