A very expensive way to wire a house? For example

These will save you many hours wiring a house. They are also much more reliable than the old terminal blocks. In my opinion, a game changer.

Has anyone tried many of the Ideal Gen II knock-offs of these? ("FauxGO" connectors? "FAKEGO"?) I grabbed a cheap assortment from Screwfix to replace an annoying terminal block and they seemed as good. Anyone deployed a load of them who can comment either way?

Look at Big Clive videos and see if they're closer to Wagos or closer to the death-traps he's dissected.

Agree with comments above - these are a game changer. Not sure if this is the cheapest way to buy these.....

They are not the cheapest way, but the time saved almost pays for the up front cost of them, certainly does if you are doing this as your profession. The are used by way more than just house bashing sparks on job and knock.

Much better and safer than screw terminal blocks

For how many years have screw terminal blocks been used? (edited)

not sure how much use DINN rail caddy thing would be for most folk, but as is the way with kits there is always something that don't make sense in a kit.

This is a fun idea for those who haven't seen it and you don't need a connector at all.
