Looks like a great price, this drill and the 12v impact driver are a great little combo

I cannot find a comparison of the different 12v models and now have a multitool and a drill with incompatible batteries but the batteries can share the same charger. I don't know whether to be annoyed or relieved.
Can you fit the offset chucks on this one?

Could this badboy drill into solid brick? I've had that issue before with drills.

With the right bit you can, but this 12V drill is outdated, the 12V-35 is a much better option and closer to a proper drill power, you can buy this set for the batteries and chargers and resell the drill body

Can only assume Amazon is stuck with this 1.5ah set after arranging some special a few years back.
You can regularly get this from Buyaparcel, FFX etc. on ebay with two 2ah batteries for less than sixty quid.

It's a cracking little drill & probably the best route into their 12V. Really surprised me, but this is not the best deal out there at all.

Is this powerful enough to drill through brick/stone?

It depends what you’re trying to do, if you wanna go through plaster and into the brick to put a plug in the wall, this works fine for me with a Bosch pro masonry bit.
The only time this set hasn’t had the guts and I’ve had to swap to my makita 18v was trying to drive 5x80mm screws into fence posts.
This little set is perfect for small diy jobs, assembling flat packed furniture etc. it’s also great if you do have another more powerful screwdriver, you when building something I find it handy to have a bit driver in my impact and a 3mm countersink bit in this to do pilot holes
