The Xmas 15p potatoes were outstanding so i'll be heading to Sainsburys next week as it seems all supermarkets will be doing similar easter offers.

I agree, they last the longest as well. Bought them the previous Christmas year so when they were on off again bought ours from there and still using them. But will be stocking up again.

Thanks for posting, great deals. Hand on heart we used our last bag of Christmas carrots 3 weeks ago which had been stored in the garage fridge. They'd only just started to sprout but were fine once peeled

How long is this offer running for?

I can’t see anything on website, normally it runs till Easter Monday.

Spend half an hour dicing and slicing and then put in freezer bags.

Just finishing up my stored veg from Christmas offers. Time to stock up on Easter veg, then allotment season to Christmas.

When I checked in store they know nothing about the brocolli on offer and even coming up at the wrong price to the ticket when weighed on the scales as it was double at £2.19 kg😞 (edited)

It's a bit of a stretch claiming Broccoli is 22p in the title I went in tody and it's half price £1.09 per kg Nectar Price so 22p if you pick 1 stem maybe.
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
I came here to post similar comment.
Yes it's half price at £1.09 per 100g. Sainsburys sell their broccoli loose, so you'd get 200g for 22p. Still decent compared to 70p to 80p for 360g in other stores.
Aldi have reduced their brocolli to 49p a stem.

Cheaper than waiting for the yellow reduction stickers

Is this definitely from 26th in-store? Being reported elsewhere as in store from 27th
    drphil's avatar
    It's from 27th in store

I needed pots and carrots on Tuesday so went to the Aldi next door to my Sainsburys, and bought another one of each (they'll keep) from Sainsburys today. The carrots are way better quality from Sainsburys, both bags of potatoes look good, tried the Aldi ones - made good mash; the Sainsbury's pots are not the Cara variety which were superb at Xmas.
    drphil's avatar
Yes quality nowhere near that at Xmas.

    Xmas 54kg: wastage after 10 weeks = 0.0%

    Today 42kg(checked so far) : wastage on purchase= 0.2 %

Can't see the broccoli on offer
  28. azl's avatar
    Same no broccoli

Crunch time for Easter Sunday meal! Unless you cook them.

Didn't even know this was on. End of day a few promos to get people in store. Like Asda have been doing. Just don't get ripped off on their full price Easter Eggs.

Will pop in tomorrow to see if any carrots left. (edited)
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
Yep, we're all stocked up for Sunday roast veggies and more.
Need a half price lamb joint from Tesco to complete the spread. (edited)
