About this deal

£173.07 after the £50 cashback. £50 cashback and 5 year warranty available by claiming (2 separate claims) from Epson.

Sounds like a decent printer based on reviews and includes up to 3 years of ink.

(Epson site not allowed by HUKD, not sure why, so I can't post links to the claims)

Unless you want brilliant quality photos printed out, then these Epson ink tanks are brilliant and apart from WiFi issues (which may be just be my WiFi), they are hassle free and incredibly cheap to run, producing perfectly adequate results for office/school work etc. I’d never go back to a standard ink jet.

We have one of these and we have printed loads and still have nearly full ink tanks. The quality is ok not as good as a decent ink jet but still pretty decent. Mine also came with an extra black bottle included in the box too. Cashback was paid within a couple of weeks too.

For that price you can buy a good colour laser printer.

Swings and roundabouts. Few if any colour lasers at this price offer auto duplex, which is important to me and probably will be to many others.

I was considering the bigger brother to this one: Deal of the day: Epson EcoTank ET-4800 A4 Multifunction Wi-Fi Ink Tank Printer, With Up To 3 Years Of Ink Included amzn.eu/d/iMxzR11

Mainly due to the feeder and scanner.

Also, isn't this one sold by third party as opposed to Amazon?

Edit: I see you can get it from Amazon for that price, and it has a scanner, might not bother with the bigger one then! (edited)

4800 does not have auto duplex. The link should take you to the Amazon seller page but if not, change the seller to Amazon.

Been keeping an eye on this since just after Christmas. Still. Fair bit more than then but gone for it now as the cashback offer ends at the end of the month.

Replacing a HP laserjet 100, should be cheaper to run despite using after market toners on the HP. The laserjet also seems to have deposited toner somewhere that ends up all over the imaging drum every 10 prints or so requiring wiping that.

Lasers absolutely are great at some things but can also be a right pain.
