    Depends on the whisky, and your palette, some whisky's need water some don't.

    Usually you would try it straight, then gradually add small amounts of whisky. You will sometimes find it changes the profile, eventually it will just taste watered down.

    The only JW I like, for info this is blended purely from single malts, no grain whisky in the blend.

    Note this is for the regular green - which is a great dram and a steal at this price.
    This is not the inferior Island Green which is seen at duty free among other outlets.

    I tested once every Johnie walker and red for obvious reasons was very bad but this one was just nearly as bad. So much worse than black. Basically just the alcohol taste.
