A used item in good condition. There will be cosmetic scratches, dents and scuffs on its casing, but works perfectly. There will be watermarks and coffee residue from the refurbishment process.

Sounds like they make a coffee with it, and call that the "refurb process" LOL!

How crucial are these Missing Accessories?
    Steam Tip Cleaning Tool,
    Manual,
    Milk Jug,
    Water Filter,
    Descaling Powder,
    2x Single Wall Filter Baskets*

*For grinding fresh whole coffee beans.

what grinder do you have? and what drinks do you plan to make?

    Manual - Online
Milk Jug - do you plan to steam/froth milk?
Water Filter - not required to use the machine
Descaling Powder - not required to use the machine
2x Single Wall Filter Baskets - you can use the pressure filter baskets I assume are included

I had the plus as my first decent machine and I loved it.

Sage stuff may be more of appliance grade equipment, but if this is in good condition, it would be by far better than most of the E-Waste grade espresso machines out there.

If you want to get into Espresso as a hobby, this would be a great first step. If you decide you like it, buy a grinder and a non pressurised basket!

If the product you get is in good condition and the company is good with returns in case you get a duff one, then this is a deal. These machines are one of the best you can get for under £500 (from my own research, after which I bought a 2nd hand Bambino plus) so at this price, which I think is about half typical retail, it's excellent value.

Because i have no interest in milk throthing, i found this to be a better machine than the bambino plus, which i had for a few days before returning it. The drip tray on the plus would detach if you so much as looked at it, which doesn't happen on the bambino. Also i like the significantly smaller footprint. I ended up buying one of these from this same ebay seller, but it was listed as excellent. What arrived was a totally brand new and unused machine, still with all the stickers and accessories and 12 month warranty (even though it was listed as having some accessories missing). It looked like maybe someone had taken the portafilter out for a look and put it back again, but that was it!. I got it for £165 during the Ebay 20% off deal and could not be happier. The bambino plus was also from them and they accepted the return with absolutely no fuss whatsoever. (edited)

Why would you buy either of these machines if you had no interest in milk frothing? I say this as somebody who has owned both.

Bought. I was waiting for the Feb deal to come back. This is small enough it'll be a travel machine for road trips...

Tested this yesterday. It made a half decent espresso. But its not a patch on my ECM which I use daily and have used for 5+ years without missing a beat.

I highly doubt this machine will last half that amount of time if used at the same rate.

Ended up grinding straight to the double walled basket which worked fine. Presume it would be marginally nicer in a single wall basket given I have a proper grinder. Plastic tamper is flimsy.

I bought a new one on sale and use it daily in work and it's been faultless. I am able to make multiple cups on the trot with no issue. Only gripe is I find it vibrates the cup about as you extract the coffee which I do find annoying.

I am not sure I would buy a used one, it's so good I think it's worth buying new without worrying about it stopping working. I would buy another one in a heartbeat it's saved me so much ££.
