    8GB still is crazy, I let it got with the M1 as the performance was so good, even though Mac OS was caching so much with just a browser and a few tabs open.... However 4 years later and we're still on 8GB when the benchmarks vs Windows is clearly showing 8GB is a bottleneck. It wouldn't be so bad if you could replace the SSD, but....

    What a bargain for 2024, a machine over £1000 with 8gb of RAM and a 256gb hard drive. Wow that price is unbelievable

    Or you could go for a MSI Prestige 16 AI Evo, 32gb ram, with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card for not much more (what I am currently using). But hey I'm not in the Apple cult.
