By the time you get it out ...use it an clean it...dry it an put it away ...a decent knife is so much easier an quicker

Ahh but would take longer to clean the knife and chopping board, on top of learning good enough knife skills to make consistent cuts.

What works for one doesn't for another.

The OXO good grips range is usually pretty unique in design and well made but this item is generic and exactly the same as the cheaper ones on amazon even using the same pictures. (edited)
