You do understand that GMT is a watch complication, not a model. You are no doubt referring to a Rolex GMT-Master when you think of a "real" GMT but that just displays your utter ignorance of the topic.
The Spring drive 9R66 is technologically superior to just about every other GMT in the world, from any brand, at any price point (excluding wild haute-horology pieces). It's also a true GMT. It's as real as it gets more to the point its a GREAT deal at this price, heat.
This is really for the tiny minority who already have a few expensive watches, and care about things like 'hand polished, not a seiko but a GRAND seiko'...
Tempted but think will have a nice holiday instead.
