We would first of all like to say that the size of Wagon Wheels hasn’t changed for more than 40 years, the only physical difference from the very first production was the removal of the scalloped edge to enable automatic packing, but this only made about 2mm difference to the size.
The diameter of the Wagon Wheel has a consistent target diameter of 77mm +/-2.5mm and the ratio of chocolate flavour coating has always been 9g +/-1g (Chocolate Coating)/36.7g +/-2.6g(Finished Biscuit Weight) which is approximately 24.5% chocolate flavour coating making up the biscuit.
